Conducting Site visit, carrying out equipment inspections, study IFB/RFP documents and conduct meetings with client/customer to evaluate job scope.
Analyze drawings and specifications and generate the BOQ (Bill of Quantity).
Attending Kick off & Pre-inspection meetings with Clients for review and approval of ITP(Inspection & Test Plans) for all projects.
Understand and implement different ITP before and after the commencement of a project.
Developing and Finalizing Technical & Commercial Proposals for projects.
Compilation of complete Job plans which comprises of detail job scope, Resource estimation plan (Equipment & Manpower), Spares, Reference Drawings, Technical Procedures, HSE requirements and Job schedule.
Finalizing & expediting the materials from procurement department.
Leading, supervision and guidance of Project Team for installation, testing, commissioning, trouble shooting of hydraulic, piping & mechanical jobs at site
Track, monitor and forecast progress of all activities and deliverables such as products, engineering documents, fabrication status and construction of all discipline.
Preparation of Weekly, Monthly progress actual quantities comparison with planned values to ensure the proper implementation of the work plan.
Preparation of progress delay analysis reports & Evaluation of weekly productivity factors by using earned and actual man-hours.
Monitoring progress against the Plan (S-curve) at various levels on weekly and monthly basis
Conducting Final Equipment testing FAT (Factory Acceptance Test) for design validation along with QC representative. Conducting SAT (Site Acceptance Test) based upon customer requirement.
Preparation of operation and maintenance manuals after installation of equipment.
• Initiating Site visit and consultations with client to assess job scope.
• Forecasting of Equipment, Manpower & other resources required to carry out jobs for Contracts, Annual Turnaround, Short shutdown and Routine Maintenance
• Developing Procedures / Technical Documents and getting approval for Post Weld Heat Treatment, Pre-Heating, De gassing, Internal Firing and Refractory Dry out procedures in accordance with ASME Section VIII, ASME B31.1 ASME 31.3, API, SAES, JERP and clients own codes and standards.
• Liaison with procurement department for selection of subcontractors required during project execution such as Crane, Scaffolding etc.
• Preparation of Shut down job plan through Primavera & monitoring of all progress through Primavera.
• Mobilization & Demobilization of all equipment & Manpower on site and management of daily activities & schedule.
• Monitoring progress against the Plan (S-curve) at various levels on weekly and monthly basis
• Liaison with client regarding documentation approvals (Method Statements, Job Safety Analysis, Inspection Work Lists and Additional Scope Requests etc.) and anticipated bottlenecks ensuring smooth progress.
• Ensuring that staff/workers following the HSE rules & regulations.
• Developing an effective management system/Database for tracking and optimum utilization of all resources (Manpower, Equipment & Technical Documents)
Worked as an Assistant Manager in Millat Equipment Ltd.(A manufacturing Facility that manufactures Transmission & Engine Parts for MF Tractors) from August 2010 to date in Design & Development Department. Major responsibilities are development of new products which incorporates
-Preparation of Feasibility Reports & Costing of new products.
-Design of Jigs, Fixtures, Gauges & selection of Tooling.
-Design of Assembly Line & Preparation of Operation Sheets & Quality Plans.
-Design of Test Rig for Lube Oil Pump of MF 375 & MF 385 Tractors.
-Complete Design of a Gear Box for an external customer.
-Studies for improvement in Tractor Design & minimize field failures.
Acquired software skills for Mechanical Engineering Design, Modeling & Analysis.
Designed an Armored Vehicle Launched Bridge Sliding Type Mechanism.
Design included all the basic parameters & Bill of Material
4 weeks internship at Honda Atlas Cars in Lahore
