• Assist different units to ensure high quality work and accurate completion of case management activities.
• Oversee refugee interviews, ensuring team members use appropriate interview techniques, and comply the WRAPS SOPs.
• Organize and schedule refugee appointments.
• Provide support to USCIS officers and oversee daily adjudications activities.
• Utilizing reports and conduct regular quality control of case files and data in WRAPS to ensure the accuracy of all case information.
• Train other Case Management team members as needed to efficiently and effectively manage refugee case files.
• Undertake duty travel as needed to participate in refugee interview and USCIS adjudication circuit rides, for meetings and for training.
• Maintain and ensure the confidentiality and integrity of all RSC-related information by implementing control procedures in line with USRAP standards of conduct and data protection rules.
• Participate in the processing of refugee files in Iraq and other MENA countries for the United States Refugee Admissions Programme (USRAP).
• Adhere to all security protocols and procedures.
• Conduct interviews with refugee applicants by capturing accurate case histories.
• Accurately record all biographic data and family relationships for all refugee applicants. Verify, translate, scan and photocopy all documents required for each refugee file.
• Provide support to the USCIS officers, including preparing and quality-checking refugee case files, providing assistance as interviews are conducted and completing other administrative tasks such as updating files and decisions, escorting refugee applicants and rescheduling interviews.
• Operate under stressful working and living conditions while maintaining a collegial team environment and productive working relationships with both colleagues and implementing partners.
• Maintain and ensure the confidentiality and integrity of all RSC-related information by implementing control procedures in line with USRAP standards of conduct and data protection rules.
• Interpret for the USCIS Officers while conducting interviews with Refugees in the Emergency Transit Center.
• Interpret Cultural Orientation Sessions for the US and Netherlands.
• Interpret for the Asylum Seekers with the Romanian Government.
