Overall responsibility for managing both the revenue and cost elements of a company's income statement, known as profit & loss (P&L) responsibility. Usually oversees most or all of the firm's marketing and sales functions as well as the day-to-day operations of the business. Frequently, responsible for effective planning, delegating, coordinating, staffing, organizing, and decision making to attain desirable profit making results for an organization.
1. Responsible for sales and marketing operations for selling chemicals such as Linear Alkyl Benzene Sulfonic Acid, Sodium Lauryl Ether Sulphate that our plant producing for scientific and industrial applications globally (B2B) business “ raw materials for detergents”.
2. Purchasing and selling the trading chemical products that we import to local and international customers.
3. Managing a team of more than 30 employees including sales engineers, Sales Representatives and logistic and production team to achieve the company goals.
4. Plan and implement sales strategy.
5. Plan and implement sales and customer retention and development.
6. Plan and manage operation and raw materials purchasing from international suppliers such as Ecogreen, Toyota chemicals, Mtisui Company and others suppliers from china and Korea Also purchasing from local suppliers such as Sabic, Cristal, and Saudi Aramco...etc.
7. Recruit, manage, train and motivate direct reporting staff according to company policy & procedures.
8. Manage relevant reporting of management and financial information for the sales and marketing departments.
9. Applying customers, suppliers and banks visits to secure our bank facility to purchase and to sell as well.
10. Plan and carry out direct sales activities to agreed budgets, sales volumes, values, product mix and timescales.
11. Respond to and follow up sales enquiries by post, telephone, and personal visits.
12. Taking care of our key account customers such as Unilever Globally, Henkel & PG.
13. Setting up the traders, off takers and agents policy and searching for new off takers for new territories.
14. Monitor the cash flow on daily basis with finance department to make sure to have smooth cash flow operation.
15. Our yearly sales value is more than 160 million Saudi riyals and volume + 60, 000 MT.
16. Acquisition experience.
1. Serve customers locally and internationally on-site and/or off-site services through providing them will all needed technical assistance and to facilitate them by selecting the right grades and optimized processing and application conditions.
2. Deploy with all needed technical information and application toolkit to best serve the customers with accurate information in shortest possible time.
3. Motivate customers toward common technical goals and objectives; and provide them with technical information to explore for new opportunities and innovations, which, in effect could promote products.
4. Constantly update the customers with latest information in their fields of operations.
5. Assist M&S in customer surveys and analysis of market product trends, and evaluation of customers and their technical needs and know-how status.
6. On the basis of market trends and customers technical feedback assist M&S to select the best optimized product grade for commercial gains.
7. Assist Sales staff in preparing customer profiles and product requirements.
8. Feedback the Product Specialist with the customization basis of new grade according to customer’s specific needs
9. Whenever possible, provide needed assistance to the Product Specialist in carrying out tasks related to technical support service to customers.
10. Prepare and present periodic and site reports about customer technical visits, and all other routine activities carried during tenure.
11. Provide M&S with manpower support along with all technical material for presentations in exhibitions, seminars, and conferences.
12. Maintain and participate in TQM systems and its assigned activities
13. Assist and contribute Product Specialist in carrying out his job functions, as and when need arises
14. Any other pertinent work assigned by the department Manager.
Worked with Saudi Arabian AMIANTIT company in Dammam as a Product Development Engineer in the Technology Services Department in R&D Center and in the marketing research department and do many projects such as (Increasing and developing Material & Product quality, Process efficiency, Market needs …) for the entire Amiantit group inside and outside Saudi Arabia.
