Review, develop and implement contract administration procedures, systems and policies in consultation with the Senior Management.
Attend project meetings where necessary and provide advice on commercial and contractual issues contract documentation, tender documentation, etc
Review complex solicitations and prepare/review response for proposals, bids and contract modifications, pre bid analysis, risk management, financial viability.
Identification of techno commercial impact, clauses interpretations & variation’s / claim’s preparation.
Coordinate with the Client/Consultant on clarifications of applications (RFQ/RFP) on various matters.
Develop negotiation strategy and lead negotiation on complex contractual issues and price bid
Advise technical staff on contractual issues
Identify possible areas of dispute amongst the Consultant(s) and Contractor(s) and take the necessary proactive Measures
Ensure that contractual correspondence is prepared, issued and responded to in a timely manner
Analyzing and comparing both schedule and cost information and relating conclusions such that management
Control action is alerted at the right time
Reviewing actual progress against planned progress, particularly with regard to manpower levels, productivity, Performance metrics and payment
Liaising with other departments at all meetings relative to project operations, to ensure that information affecting Schedule and cost is continually up-dated
Providing feedback on key project issues to Department and Management team on a timely basis.
