1. Inverter and Module Selection:
❖ Evaluation and comparison inverter and module technologies for optimal solar power plant design.
2. Inverter Sizing and Configuration:
❖ Sizing string and central inverters, design string configurations, and determine block sizing for
efficient solar plant operation.

❖ Conduct thorough PVsyst simulations, iterating for accurate energy yield estimations.
4. Grid and Impact
❖ Ensure compliance with grid requirements for ground-mounted and rooftop solar plants.
❖ Analyze grid impact on PV plant inverters and other electrical equipment/systems.
5. Layout Design and Routing:
❖ Prepare and analyze Array ICR and MCR layouts, DC, AC, MV cable routing using AutoCAD.
6. Sizing Calculations and Technical Documentation:
❖ Perform sizing calculations for earthing, lightning protection, illumination, battery, UPS, switchgears,
etc.
❖ Prepare comprehensive solar plant BOQ and technical specifications for all electrical equipment.
7. Single Line Diagrams:
❖ Develop DC, AC, and Protection Single Line Diagrams to guide the electrical aspects of the solar
power project.
8. Site Visits and Coordination:
❖ Conduct site visits, participate in interdisciplinary meetings, and coordinate effectively with cross
functional teams.
