• Following up with suppliers upon order confirmation:-
1. Starting from resolving subcontractors, design related queries by either providing them a detailed mechanical drawing or making necessary revision by our design department to fit the contractors need. Providing valuable inputs to design department for mechanical design improvements for future similar projects.
2. Helping vendors to develop their internal quality control by scheduling our QC/ QA team for ongoing inspections to ensure that material is made as per our design within the tolerance limit as per standard fabrications guidelines.
Scheduling inspections at various stages, such as cutting stage, tack welds fabrication stage, full weld fabrication stage, leakage testing upon full welding, leakage test upon full blasting prior to painting, peel off test upon full painting, final assembly inspection prior to delivery.
3. Developing local and International supplier for fabricated and non fabricated component.
4. Yearly vendor evaluation as per the company’s policy and procedure, sending vendor assessment details with all vendors for improvement. Sending warning letters to the vendor, who fall in category “c”.
5. Dealing with Galvanizing, Blasting & Painting companies in U.A.E, to ensure the factory over load issue is addressed and ensuring the committed delivery dates promised to the clients are unchanged by addressing internal issue related to procurement.
6. Updating my senior, sales and production team in advance for any delays due to non conformance and logistical issue.
