DUTIES
• Training and assessment in fixed Plant and mobile equipment.
• Training and assessment in safety compliance courses e.g. equipment isolation & tagging, confined space entry, working at height etc.
• Verification of competence of all employees and contractors operating company fixed plant and mobile equipment.
• Training new drivers and operators in the safe operation of equipment.
• Training record keeping and control.
• Updating of all training activities and documents in INX LMS.
• Develop training plans and manage objectives and performance.
• Assist end-users to identify fixed, driving and mobile equipment operating including safety compliance gaps and help close out the gaps.
• Conduct training needs analysis and deliver training to bridge gaps in employee’s skills and knowledge.
• Plan, develop and implement courses to meet the training needs of trainees in fixed plant, mobile equipment and safety compliance.
• Ensure that company procedures and safety regulations are re-enforced in order to minimize accidents and optimize production.
• Maintain effective communication with clients to establish training needs and report on training progress.
• Evaluate the effectiveness of training and modify training materials as appropriate.
• Coordinating, planning, developing and delivery of mobile equipment and safety compliance courses.
• Conducting classroom and field training (presenting, coaching, facilitating & assessing) the novice, refresher, verification of competence and upgrade Operators on both light and heavy Mobile equipment.
• Conducting safety compliance trainings e.g. equipment isolation & tagging, confined space entry, working at height etc.
• Entering training data, filing operator and employee documents and keeping records, training repots and making sure the relevant authority signs the operator competence forms, Certificates and operating permits.
• Making and issuing authorized operator competence permits signed by relevant authorities to competent operators.
• Using modern highly itemized computer systems e.g. INX intuition training management systems for trainees’ data inputs and personal file management and storage.
• Ensuring that statutory training requirements are met.
