• Installation of Schneider Cabinets for the Control Room for Nitrogen Plant including cable trays installation, earthling and cable laying for the filed instruments up to the Control Room. Installation of PLC Panels (Siemens) for Local Control of Atlas Copco Compressors (5 Nos. Compressors).
• Coordination and Construction Management for the RODM ( Water Re-osmosis and Demin Water Plant) Instrumentation, Control Valves and Control Room Equipments supplied by Schneider (DCS Control Systems)
• Site Coordination for the construction activities for Gasoline Unit and Hydrogen Generating Unit (HGU) including Gas Compressors.
Job Responsibility:
• Review of all the Engineering Drawings, Technical Specifications and Pre-commissioning & Commissioning Documents submitted by EPC Contractor (Harbin Electric International (HEI) China.
• Site Supervision and Witnessing of Instrument Bench Calibration, Installation of field instruments, Control Valves, Moves, Control Panels which includes DCS Panels (Emerson Ovation), Fire Detection and Alarm Systems, Fire Protection System which include Fire Detectors, Heat & Smoke Detectors, Linear Heat Detector Cables (LHSD) and FM200 Fire Extinguishing System supplied by Maxima China.
• Site Supervision of HRSG and Steam Turbine Instruments including LP, IP & HP Drum Level, Pressure & Temperature Instruments. Also witnessed the Auxiliary Systems associated with Gas Turbine and Steam Turbine.
• Loop Checks/Pre-commissioning of Instruments for HRSG, Steam Turbine (ST), Fire Detection and Alarm Systems.
• Review of all Electrical Drawings like one line diagrams and interfacing drawings. Testing and Commissioning of Switchgear, Transformers, Generators protection Systems and UPS Systems
• Raising the Punch Items for all the Instruments installed in the field for Simple Cycle, Combine Cycle, BOP including Water Treatment Plant, Water Intake Systems, Fuel Oil Storage Tanks, Control Room Equipments and Fire Detection.
• Participation in the progress meeting and issue of letters to EPC related to Site issues and the plant documentation
Project: Un-conventional Gas Project for North of K.S.A.
Job Responsibility - FEED and Detailed Design of Un-conventional Gas Project
•Preparation of technical specifications, Instrument Data Sheets for the Early Test Facilities (ETF) for the Unconventional Gas Modular Skids Jafurah (North & South) consisting of Choke Valve, ESD Valves, Pressure Pilot HIPPS Valves, Flow Meters, Wellhead Hydraulic Control Panel Flare Systems, Knockout Drum Instruments..
•Preparation, development and modifications of P&IDs for control loops, ESD & Fire and Gas System interfaces.
•Preparation of Material Requisition for F&G Detectors, Spec Break Valve, Field Instruments and Junction Boxes.

Job Responsibilities- PMC, Design Review, Site Monitoring & Pre-commissioning
Project Overview
Shah Gas Development (SGD) Project (Client Al Hosn Gas Development), located to the Southeast of the Shah Arab field which Process 1, 000 MMscft of Shah Arab Gas. This project comprising of Shah Gas Gathering facilities which includes Four (04) Main PADs (MP) and Four (04) Satellite PADs (SP) with a total of 20 Wells..Cost of Project is USD600 million.
Responsibilities Consist of the Following:
•Design Review of Control System Documents /Drawings prepared by EPC Contractor (TR) including Instrument Block Diagrams, Technical Specification & Data Sheets for Instrument Cables, Junction Boxes, Control Valve, On-Off Valves, Choke Valve, HIPPS Valves, ESD Valve & ESD System, Well Head Control Panel (WHCP) FORES, Wet Gas Flow Meter (HAIMO) and Pipeline Leak Monitoring (PLMS) Systems (Fiber Optic Sensor Cable Based).
•Review and approval of Vendors Documents for DCS (Honeywell Experion), HIPPS System, F&G Detection System, DCS Process Control & Marshalling Cabinets and Associated General Arrangement Drawings.
•Review of Safeguarding Narratives for ESD and Fire & Gas System, Review of Cause and Effect Diagrams.
•Review of Plant Security System like Perimeter Fence CCTV Cameras, FOIDS, Access Control Systems (ACS).
•Review of Cable Layout Drawings Cable Termination Details and Schedule with J.B Installation Details..
•Review and Approval of Vendor Documents/Drawings for Wet Gas Flow Meter (HAIMO) Skids & Meter Cabinet,
•Design Review of Telecommunication Systems like FOIDS Cabinets, FO Cable Patch Panels, Telephone & Public Address (PAGA) System. This includes Specifications, Layout and FO Cable terminations details.
•Review of Fire and Gas Detection System Documents including Toxic & Flammable Gas Detection System, FACP, UV/IR Flame Detectors and the installation details of Detectors and Monitoring Panels.
•Site Supervision for the installation of field instruments, F&G System, ESD & HIPPS Valve, WHCP, Wet Gas Meter Skids, Hydraulic Tubing for WHCP connected with Wellhead X-mass Trees and Choke Valve.
•Installation of CCTV, ACS, Telecom Systems, Flare Ignition Control Panel, Weather Monitoring Equipment Installation, Flow Instruments for MEG Injection Manifold for Glycol Injection & Knock Out Drum Level Instrument.
•Site Supervision for the Equipment Installation in IES Shelter like DCS System, F&G System Digital & Analog Signals Cabinets, HIPPS System Cabinet, PLMS Cabinet, and Telecom System Cabinets & TETRA Cabinets, HMI Consoles and Engineering Work Station installation and interface for DCS, F&G and ESD Systems.
•Participation in FAT for DCS and F&G System Cabinets, HIPPS & ESD Cabinets and PLMS Cabinet at Honeywell Testing Facilities in Mussafah Abu Dhabi UAE. Review and Approval of SAT Procedure for ESD, DCS, HIPPS and Fire & Gas System. Witnessing of SAT for all these Systems and Cabinets in IES.
•Monitoring of Construction Progress and providing guidelines to Contractor for Site issues. and for Vendor Packages like WHCP, Wet Gas Flow Meters, Telecom & PAGA Systems, CCTV and ACS System etc.
•Follow up with CTN, DCN & FCN. Perusing and Coordination with EPC for the MOC for Wellhead Control Panels. Review of all concerned documents & Procedures for implementation of MOC and getting it approved from Operation and Client considering all the hazardous conditions and Risk involved for this MOC..
•Pre-commissioning/Loop Checks and Functional Testing of F&G Equipments, Choke Valves, ESD Systems, WHCP, Wet Gas Flow Meter, HIPPS Valves, Telecom Systems, CCTV, ACS & PAGA Systems, Flare Ignition Control Panels, Knock Out Drum Level Instruments, Christmas Tree SCSSV, SSV & XV Valves for Open/Close and Shutdown Sequence. Functional test of ICS with Main Control Room and IES Equipment for ESD and Choke Valve.
•Pre-Commissioning & Functional Testing of VESDA System, FACP, PLMS and FOIDs System.
•Participation in HAZOP Studies for Well PAD Instrumentation, Packaged Equipment and Fire Suppression System

Job Responsibilities - Project Management and Construction Supervision
•Review of P&IDs, Data Sheets for Control Valves, Flow Meters, Pressure, Level and Temperature Transmitters, Analyzers, Separation Filters for Sodium Bi-carbonate, and Chemical Reactor Instruments.
•Preparation of Data Sheets for Pressure and Level Transmitters, Differential Pressure Gauges, Flow Meters, Control Valves, MOVs and Temperature Instruments like RTDs. Preparation of Instrument Index, calibration sheets, inspection documents for QA/QC purposes. Preparations of material take off (MTO) and procurement of materials.
•Preparation of Cause and Effect Diagrams, Control Philosophy, Alarm and Trip Set points tables.

Job Responsibilities: Project Management, Design Review, Site Supervision & Pre-Comm.
•Design Review of I&C Packages for Oil Well Site, Water Supply & Water Injection Wells Instrumentation and Control Systems including Pressure & Temperature Instruments, RTU Cabinets, SCADA System for Abu Hadriyah, Fadhily and Khursaniyah Up Stream Oil Producing Facilities which include Wellhead Christmas Trees.
•Site Supervision and Monitoring of Construction Activities for the installation of Field Instruments, Analog and Digital Junction Boxes, Cable Conduits & Trays, Instrument & Power Cables for MOVs and laying and termination of Communication Cables (Ethernet & Cat 6 Cables).
•Coordination with Design and Site Contractors to resolve the technical issues found during Design and Installation Phases, for RTU Panels, ESD Systems, MOVs, Multiphase Flow Meters, Pressure & Temperature Instruments & J.Bs Installation and location fixation at Well Site considering the Electrical Area Classifications etc.
•Site Supervision of RTU interfacing with the Field Instruments and Communication Devices like Ethernet Switches.

•Review & approval of Instrument Loop Folders and Pre-commissioning Packages and Method Statement for field instruments like Pressure Transmitters, MOV’s, Emergency Shutdown System (ESD) and RTU/SCADA Systems.
•Supervising the EPC and Vendors activities for the Installation & Pre-commissioning of ESD System (Halliburton) Panels, ESP Skids (Schlumberger) with Controller Uni Conn. and Corrosion Inhibitor Skids for Oil Well Sites. Pre-commissioning and testing of Electrical Submersible Pump (ESP).
•Co-ordination with Site Contractor and Vendor for the testing of Multiphase Flow Meter (Schlumberger), Permanent Down Hole Monitoring System (PDHMS) provided with Controller Uni Conn. which were supplied by Schlumberger and SWC (Smart Well Completion) Systems supplied by Well Dynamics.
•Design Review of I&C Documentation for Safaniya Oil Field which includes the I&C Deliverables for Up-grading and Expansion of the Existing facilities.
Project: Qatif & Abu Safah Pipeline Project (Down Stream)
Job Responsibilities -Project Management/PMT, Design Review, Site Supervision & Pre-Comm.
•Design Review of Instrument and Control Systems for 45Km 28” QA Crude Pipeline, 47Km 28” QA Sour Gas Pipeline, 20km 30” ABSRT Crude Oil Pipeline, and 55km 36” BG Gas Pipeline Project.
•Design review of Instruments Packages including Pressure & Temp. Instruments, Pipeline Scraper Passage Indicators (SPI) Hazardous Gas Monitors (Gen Monitors), Corrosion Monitoring Systems, RTU (Bristol Babcock) & SCADA Systems. Review of Communication Network & Systems from RTU in the field to OSPAS (Main Control Center Dhahran) for Pipelines Instruments and Valves at each Valve Stations.
•Installation checks and Pre-commissioning of Fieldbus Transmitters inside GOSP- for Crude Oil & Gas Pipelines.
•Review and approval of documents for Acoustic Leak Detection System (ALDS) for Crude Oil and Gas Pipelines and its Communication Interfaces with RTU & OSPAS Dhahran.
•Site Supervision and Coordination with the Construction Contractors, Proponent and Operational Group.

• Responsible for MOC for the purposes systems and preparation of documents & procedures for MOC Implementation.
• Responsible for the preparation of Instrument Data Sheets for the Installed Instruments to Up-grade the Exiting Systems including Onshore fields and Offshore Platforms like Gathering Stations, Flow Stations
Project: Up-Grading of NGL and Yanbu Refinery Control Systems
Job Responsibilities - Project Management / PMC, Design Evaluation and Up-Grading
•Design Review of P&IDs, Instrument Data Sheets, Control Valves Specs. & EPC Engineering Drawings/Documents.
•Gathering the Instrument Data for existing installed Instruments, Control Valves, and Metering Skid to get the instrument ranges for the preparation of new specification and data sheets for Detail Engineering and Design Packages Preparation for Up-Grading Instrumentation and Control Systems. Provided the Design Supports to EPC Company Chiyoda to prepare the MTO and Purchase Orders which could be forwarded to Vendors.
•Modification of existing DCS System (Bailey infi 90) and its interfacing to new system i.e Siemens T3000 Controls.
•Review of J.Bs Wiring Diagrams, Instrument Loop Diagrams and Hookup details for the Existing Instrumentation, Control Valves, for various Process Systems, in Yanbu Refinery, Marine Metering Station, ESD Systems and interfacing with Existing DCS System and Marshalling Cabinets in the Main Control Room and Rack Room
•Field Surveying & Verification of Instrument and Control Valves Data for ISO-PENTANE Recovery Plant and NGL Plant and from the Yanbu Refinery. Up-dating the Instrument Index and ILDs list and Hookup Diagrams.
•To attend the Weekly Progress Meetings with Client, EPC Contractors and Vendors for review and approval for the replacement of Existing Instrumentation and Control Systems with new and modern technology and to evaluate the feasibility for future maintenance and spare parts availability. Follow up for MOC Procedures for the Installations.
•To prepare the MTO for the Instrumentation and Control Systems required replacing the existing Control systems.
