As Head of Averda Supply Chain/Procurement across GCC, I am tasked with ensuring optimal use of FTEs within the department and high level of engagement with internal and external customers.
• Restructuring the entire GCC Supply Chain Department, consolidating and re-aligning responsibilities and tasks.
• Identifying Suppliers critical to AVI operations based on spend analysis and proposing the most efficient ways to manage suppliers.
• Continuously reviewing company procurement, sourcing and warehousing needs and engaging with internal Oracle consultants on ways to improve/adapt the AVI processes for increased efficiency and reduce unnecessary bottlenecks.
• Providing consultancy services in procurement, indirect sourcing, spend management, category management, spend and opportunity analysis, eSourcing to multiple industries i.e. IT, Energy, Telecoms e.t.c
• Currently providing procurement, category management and indirect sourcing advisory services to an Oil & Gas group in Nigeria by providing additional resources to support their existing teams while also managing their total annual spend of approx. $200M
• I coordinate all procurement specialists and buyers in the SSA to support all segment operations.
I manage all aspects of Procurement/sourcing services for all the segments within the region
• Obtaining required products/services in a timely, cost effective manner to support operations and eliminate operation downtime.
• I continually monitor, evaluate and improve supplier performance data of price, quality, on-time delivery and service.
• Coordination work with internal customer departments to resolve all issues relevant to the supplier or products/services requirements.
• I analyze and strive to maintain up-to-date knowledge of market trends, pricing, availability, capacity, technology and supplier capability relative to the assigned portfolio of goods/services.
• Identify savings opportunities relative to suppliers and parts assigned.
• Development and implement sourcing strategy relative to the product or services assigned
Expansion of existing retail network and maintenance of existing outlets by managing construction of new outlets and carrying out maintenance of existing with an annual budget of $ 7M for maintenance of existing network.
• Managed the regional rebranding (financial and projects) of 54 outlets in a region and responsible for procurement/award/supervision of the projects.
• Lead a team of engineers to the successful supervision and completion of $2M university outlet project in my assigned region.
Overall monitoring of all equipment on production platforms
Ensuring efficient operations for all separating equipment
Preparation of production platforms for drilling/workover activities i.e. gravel packing, water flooding e.t.c.
