• Participate in lectures & field training
• Respond to fire alarms and emergency calls
• Drive or crew firefighting appliances or other vehicles to fires or incident scenes
• Operate pumps, spray foam or water from hoses, portable extinguishers or other appliances to extinguish fires, or to disperse or neutralize dangerous substances such as chemicals and petroleum
• Rescue people trapped in dangerous situations
• Respond to industrial accidents
• Administer first aid and oxygen therapy
• Take part in ongoing training in firefighting techniques and in demonstrations and fire drills
• Inspect firefighting equipment and hydrants
• Undertake fire drill & or lectures to the airport staff in different department which includes demonstrations, evacuation, safety precautions, basic firefighting using fire alarms & fire extinguishers
