In Proposal, Projects and Engineering:
• Study of input documents for the project.
• Preparing Engineering/site Deliverables list for the projects.
• Planning schedule for the Engineering works to complete as per Project requirement.
• Preparation of Datasheet, Specification, RFQ for Mechanical Equipment & packages.
• Technical Bid Evaluation (TBE), preparing TQs and Finalizing vendor.
• Coordinating with Procurement department for release of purchase order.
• Vendor design Documents and drawings Review and approval for manufacturing.
• Review (IDC/IDR) of Project Documents, PDS, P&ID & Layout.
• Coordinating with Team Members, other Disciplines (Process, E&I, civil, structural, procurement, quality), production team, QA/QC and site team for all clarification/issues.
• Attending Kick Off meeting, Internal Technical meeting and HAZOP study related to the Project.
• Follow up with vendors for the completion of their package on time as per project schedule.
• Man-hour estimation for Engineering works and deliverables.
• Design and Detailing of Static Equipment like Pressure vessel, Heat exchanger, Tank, Column, chimneys and piping. (By Manual and using design software)
• Design and detailing of Packaged Equipment like Oil and gas process packages & Injection /dosing package. as per Project Spec.
• Preparation & checking of Manual Design Calculation for Rectangular tanks and ducts.
• Coordinating with draftsman for drawing preparation and checking of Detail drawing for Equipment, piping and Skids.
• Pipe wall thickness calculation, layout and stress Analysis (using CAESAR II software).
• Good experience in design software like PVElite, TANK, CAESAR, Nozzle pro, Auto CAD and MS office for Documentation.
• Package / Skid 3D model review using Navisworks & Autodesk design Review as per specification.
• Familiar with codes like ASME BPVC Sec.VIII Div. 1&2, ASME B31.1, B31.3, B31.8, TEMA, API 610, 620, 650, 675 & 676, UL-142, PD5500, NACE, AWWA & IS codes.
• Works with Specification and standards of clients like ADMA OPCO, EIL, SAUDI ARAMCO, Shell DEP & PIP standards
• Ability to interpret and design, according to any codes, Specifications & Standards.
In Pre-Bid Engineering:
• Study of Tender Document and extracting the exact Scope of work.
• Preparing list of Equipment and packages scope as per tender
• Preparing technical query to client regarding the clarification in bid/RFQ documents and closing all the queries with client approved/accepted resolution for the queries.
• Preparing RFQ for equipment and packages to vendor/sub vendor for getting the techno commercial offer for all bought out items.
• Site visit to collect any inputs and feasibility study regarding the scope in brown field Projects.
• Preliminary Design of equipment and piping for bidding.
• Preparation of BOQ schedule for all Equipment and Packages for Pre-Bid submission
• Preparing compliance, Exclusion, Deviation list for the Bidding.
