1.(Package 0050) Jan 2016 to date . Qatar Emiri Naval Base(QENF) Roads, Utilities and Buildings. (Storm water, Irrigation, Foul water, Potable water Firefighting lines, ground fuel stations, STP ) .
2. (Package 0037) 2014 to 2015 Naval base Basin Quay wall construction, breakwaters, revetments and slipways.22 Km Internal Roads from main Messiad highway to naval base.
3.(Package 0013) 2012 to 2014 .(Dredging of 21Km Access Channel, hydraulic and dry Reclamation of Naval Base and future’s economic zone. 9.7Km Rock revetment and Break water of 3km of Naval base and Various Buildings in Naval Base.

Job responsibilities:
Package (0013, 0037 & 0050) .monitoring/Inspection pre cast quay wall blocks in pre cast yard approximately 13000 and on site cast in situ base blocks. Witnessed all type of geo investigation tests like (CPT, SPT, Pump test, Trial Pits).Monitoring/Witnessing of all Superficial deposits sampling off shore and on shore. Monitoring/inspection all Crown wall blocks casting in situ and precast in casting yard . Generating daily site dairy and forward to RE & ARE. Providing all site activities status to RE & ARE with daily progress photographs .Monitoring all rock revetment activities like Core rock installation, blinding layer Geotextile and armour rock (0.3-1T & 1T-4T) installation around the naval base area. Witness/ monitor daily dry fill and hydraulic fill material sampling with third party Lab, . Preparing daily and weekly work log and submitting to RE .Monitoring construction of Cut off wall in access channel area and dry excavation in access channel area. Updating and monitoring daily work of dredgers. Monitoring construction of all naval base bunds. Reporting all HSE issue in Info exchange on daily basis. Supervision and inspection of building construction works as per approved shop drawings, MAS, MS .
• Monitoring/inspecting construction of 20KM Naval base roads witnessing all kind of tests on (Sub grade, Sub base, base course, Wearing course)
• Monitoring/inspecting all quay wall capping beam casting and updating capping beam tracking register daily to submit ARE & RE.
• Witnessing all embedded pipes/sleeves installation and testing like (pressure test).
• Monitoring/inspecting installation of all Quay wall furniture like (Bollards, Ladders, arch fenders, wheel fenders, Foam filled fenders, ) and updating daily basis the quay wall furniture register witnessing all tests for quay wall furniture like(Pull out test, Torque test).
• Witnessing all concrete trial mix in batching plant and witness all concrete tests in third party lab.
• Conducting pre-pour inspections of formworks, reinforcing steel, and concrete placement activities. Check reports and documentations of all Quality Records.
• Ensuring that all sites activities are carried out in accordance with ITP’s, standards and specifications. Prior to concrete pouring, ensure that all the required tests are
conducted, (i.e, slump test, etc).
1. Project description : New Jetty At Said Bin Sultan Naval Base Wudam : New jetty with 8 small Building break water & all Internal Roads.
2.Habbin-Hasik 40 Km Raod.Dhofar Region Oman
Monitoring/Inspection pre cast quay wall blocks in pre cast yard and installation in already operational naval base basin. Witnessing all on site and in lab material testing and sampling as per specifications and standards .
Reviewing and checking the drawings (Civil, Structural & Architectural), Random quality control inspection of work carried out on site by the contractor, advising the Resident Engineer of any site event that are likely to impede progress or non compliance .Checking and inspecting the materials delivered to site for conformance with approved samples, materials and equipment and report finding to Resident Engineer, receiving of approved
MIRs & RFIs requests for inspection from Resident Engineer & attend the site to witness tests to insure compliance with the specifications. Conducting site inspections and authorizes corrections to be made within the compliance of job specifications and project procedures. Witness the soil tests results and forward to Resident Engineer for his approval. Observing work progress at site to ensure that procedures and materials used conform to specifications, taking samples of various materials tests as required, monitoring and inspecting the construction activities to ensure that the work is done in accordance in the contract requirements, non conformities to be reported to Resident Engineer, Supervising of construction of small buildings and in a timely manner to the required quality, Preparing daily logs and reports and maintaining records of inspection made, test performed and work executed, observing site safety practices and the progress of the work, report any concern to the resident Engineer, and performs other miscellaneous duties assigned by the resident Engineer . Daily inspection of precast yard during casting of quay wall blocks and witness and checked daily in house tests of concrete and aggregate like, compressive strength, gradation of aggregate and inspection of fresh concrete taking .Slump test, temp, and bleeding or segregation monitor the sampling of fresh concrete .Inspecting and witness the placing of quay wall blocks and checking the levels of each layer of blocks after placing as per the drawings.
Concrete mix design, concrete mix trials and approvals, testing and supervision of batching plant activities. Has supervised construction involving pre-cast and in-situ concrete. Coordinate with independent labs like Body Cote and Fugro for testing of concrete, blocks, paving blocks, asphalt and other constructions products of company. Site visits on clients request and participate in meetings for client requirements.
1. Responsible for Establishing and monitoring Documentation Procedure.
2. Coordinate with the Technical Manager on all quality issues.
3. Implement and Monitor approved Project QC plan.
4. Assure all technical documents relative to material and testing quality control are current status.
5. Coordinate with the third party laboratory for all required tests on site and in plant.
6. Verify that the quality related plant activities are in accordance with the applicable codes and standards.
7. Participate in internal and external material and plants audits.
8. Prepare internal non conformance reports.
9. Control all external non conformance reports and undertake remedial action.
10. Elaborating inspection and test programs and making method statement for the works to be done.
11. Certify bills related to material delivery and Tests conducted at site and in main lab
1. Carry out all site inspections with consultants.
2. Ensure that all inspection reports are accurate and that all attached documents are current status.
3. Responsible for inspection of all architectural finishes such as (GRP & GRC works, roof tiles and flooring).
4. Ensure all work is correctly prepared prior to any inspection being undertaken.
5. Review work procedures and method statements for compliance with good work practices and the customers contract specifications.
6. The completion of QC site instructions/NCR’s and coordinates their closure.
7. Check the steel reinforcement, farm work, scaffolding etc.
8. Prepare daily work progress report and present to Project Manager.
