10. Prepare the monthly cash and payment forecast for activities carried out by contractors
11. Produce weekly progress report on the construction activities
12. Contribute to the development of NRC’s Country strategy and action plan.
13. Assign, supervise and appraise section staff.
At Community Livelihoods Project - Education Sector - Infrastructure Component.
Aden & Lahij / Yemen.
Responsibilities
1. Study, discuss, plan & identify the project implementation strategy for 134 schools WASH, rehabilitation, water supply, construction of water catchment tanks, latrines & storage rooms in six governorates in Yemen.
2. Field Assessment - Survey
3. Assist the project manager and consultant infrastructure by scheduling the project duration using Microsoft Project (MP) program.
4. Preparing blueprints and designs, Quantity surveying cost estimating and bills of quantities.
5. Preparing construction tender-bid documents, evaluation of contractor bids preparing contracts and documentations, subsequent contracts award and works start-up regularly.
6. Assist contractors and team leaders to develop proposals, budget and project duration plans.
7. Supervise ongoing projects, monitor, lead, evaluate and come up with comments and support the contractors and team leaders.
8. Preparing weekly work progress reports and making sure that the project is moving as planned.
9. Preparing amendments, change orders, hand over certificates and approving cash transfers invoices for 19 projects in Aden and Lahij governorates.
10. Coordinate + meeting the local community and local authorities (Mostly ministry of education).

Quantity surveying and measurements, Preparing daily report for work progress, site planning, solving technical problems, attending weekly and monthly progress meetings and giving a daily tool box talk about safety and health and hazard to workers.
Technical issue: Formwork, reinforcement, concrete work, finishing works and concrete lab tests.
Site planning, monitoring, land surveying and measurement, assisting preparation of documentation to client and preparing progress reports.
