Reports to CEO and :

- Directs the organizations overall supply chain operations, including purchasing and inventory of raw materials, selection of vendors, and distribution of finished goods.

- Manage the company strategic buying activities and lead negotiations for A materials and vendors.

- Evaluates past performance data to forecast needs and production scheduling.

- Develops strategic plans to improve productivity, quality, and efficiency of operations.

- Manages the departmental sub-function within a broader departmental function.

- Creates functional strategies and specific objectives for the sub-function and develops budgets/policies/procedures to support the functional infrastructure.

It is the biggest seafood restaurants chain in Saudi Arabia. The owners have expansion plans for the current concept to treble size the business. In addition, they aim to develop new QSR concept in parallel with AmoHamza business. Our role is to make this happen.

• Formulate strategic policies & procedures to strengthen internal logistics and improve storage,
transport and physical control of key items.

• Optimize the spare parts supply chain ensuring fulfilment of maintenance requirements considering
factors like order lead times, warehousing constraints, logistics issues & costs.
• Lead, guide and support a team of central logistics & warehouse manager, transport/purchasing
supervisors, SCD controllers, logistics/warehouse supervisors & staff, buyers & drivers in achieving
predefined objectives.
• Track & keep abreast of market trends & prices to support purchasing decision making.

Achievements:
• Established a new Supply Chain Department and implemented processes, systems and policies
which improved operations & efficiency, visibility & accuracy across the supply chain & teamwork in
the function.
• Adopted the system of consignment stocks/vendor managed inventory - a strategy for paying for
quantity used - which reduced working capital requirements, improved cash flows and eliminated
stock risks & wastage.
• Saved SAR 900, 000 per year in transport costs through effective planning, scheduling, monitoring
& control.
• Improved procurement practices and reduced spare parts inventory by 20%.
• Introduced new suppliers for feed commodities reducing costs and increasing revenues.
