Engage with authority at beginning of the project to insure that all temporary utilities (power, water and telephone etc.) are provided on time and do the same with closing out of the project to ensure disconnection of utility services.
Review and analyze all MEP drawings, materials, schedules/planning of work etc. Rising RFI of MEP services in case of any clarifications/approvals required.
Coordinating all electro-mechanical activities with various teams on site.
Review the shop drawings, constructions details, product technical data, material samples, inspections plans, method statements, delivery schedules to confirm compliance with the requirements of the project.
Reviewing technical submittals and shop drawings prior to sub mission to the consultant.
Ensuring that all civil obstructions have been cleared to MEP contractor to proceed with MEP activities.
Ensure harmonious working relationship between the contractor and consultants, understand that open communication and team work to be promoted and that an adversarial management style will be detrimental to the project.
Coordinating the work between MEP and civil at the site followed by solving the issues.
Co-ordination & attending the progress and technical meetings with subcontractors, contractors, suppliers, consultants and client.
Monitoring of work as per specification, local & international standard & codes.
Rising MIR and WIR of site MEP works for consultant approval and coordinating to get the approvals.
Rising and attending authority inspections as per projects schedule.
Attending and witness the pre & final testing and commissioning of all MEP services.
Review the contractor document (drawings, specification and concept) and highlighting any changes in design as per site conditions.
Co-ordinate with planning department to prepare material submittal log, shop drawing log and planning the project as per completion date.
Reviewing the tender/design drawings and submitting shop drawings, technical submittals in compliance with contract drawings and project specifications.
Estimating the total quantity of materials and making the BOQ (Bill of Quantities) and costing the projects.
Implement cost effective measures for reducing project cost.
Coordinate with all constructions management team for all Mechanical related works.
Attending technical meetings with clients, architectures, consultants and managers regarding progress, co-ordination, changes in drawings and for various updates weekly.
Plan forecast for next week's activity and follow up material requirement in advance.
Prepare progress reports, scheduling of activities to achieve targeted progress.
Preparation of daily, weekly and monthly reports, submission of monthly running bills and subcontractors bills.

Providing technical assistance to Mechanical team for all related works.
Preparing method statements for installation of works, co-ordinate with main contractor, other sub-contractors and consultants.
Selection of all Mechanical equipment as per specifications and drawings provided by Consultants.
Review and prepare contractors, suppliers submittals (Equipment data sheets, Inspection & Test plan, Installation operation and maintenance manual) related to the discipline and ensure its compliance with design, contract requirement and submit to consultants & client for review and approval.
Involve and guiding the MEP draftsman to prepare Mechanical drawings (plan, section, schematic and balancing etc.) respect to design requirements and contract requirements with coordinate with other services.
Making RFQ, preparing comparison sheet and finalizing the material/sub-contracts as per standards specifications.
Involve in preparing PO and tracking deliveries/shipment to ensure timely delivery of materials, equipment and system to support installation works as per approved work program.
Estimating & costing of new projects and involvement in tendering.
Responsible for installation of all Mechanical equipment with all accessories followed by submittals and approvals.
Ensure that all work at site is done according to approved shop drawings and procedures followed by quality and safety aspects.

Installation of electrical panels followed by laying and termination of electrical cables.
