• Assist the Group Finance Manager in developing the policies and procedures in accordance with finance strategies and ARASCO’s overall objectives and direction.
• Establishes cut-off procedures, ensures completeness in accounting of assets, liabilities, income and expenses, and communicates them to all department employees in a timely and accurate manner.
• Finalizes company’s accounts and prepares periodic financial reports to include Income Statement, Balance Sheet, Statement of Retained Earnings, and Cash Flow Statement, to be completed by the set deadline.
• Coordinates with the company’s external auditors in the conduct of audit and finalizing of the financial statements.
• Prepare Management report and Presentation to be reviewed and discussed with top management.
• Review and analyze financial and non-financial information and prepare reports on agreed dimensions and other KPI related reports.
• Producing meaningful commentary and analysis of financial data.
• Direct the preparation of monthly business performance reports showing progress against KPIs, trends, comment on actual vs budget variations and risks, as well as areas that require management attention.
• Coordinate with Planning and Budgeting Manager to collect the consolidated financial reports, and performs the financial analysis.
• Involved in Business Planning, P&L, Balance sheet & liquidity planning.
• Ensures that all investments are revalued on a monthly basis and adjusted accordingly as per the accounting policies and procedures.
• Overseeing all aspects of financial control in the business.
• Provide continues support for ERP support team to build, test, and evaluate system integration setup.
• Maintain chart of accounts across all company codes.
• Select and implement - when needed- new reporting tools to improve the efficiency and quality of management reporting.
• Developing, managing and motivating a team of finance professionals.
• Adhere to the management reporting processes, policies and procedures.
• Prepare and provide ARASCO’s financial analysis and business performance reports ( profitability analysis, cost analysis, etc … )
• Perform consolidation and follow up with subsidiaries and business units for timely reconciliation of inter-company transactions and balances.
• Takes responsibilities for annual reporting, statutory and reporting compliance.
• Presents ARASCO’s financial position and prepares ad hoc reports to the board.
• Assists in review and analysis of rolling forecasts and preparation of presentation material for consolidated rolling forecasts for Arasco
Responsibilities:
• Reviewing all warehouse transaction.
• Preparing all inventory, costing and variance reports on monthly basis.
• Analyzing cost of goods sold and gives reasons for any unreasonable variances.
• Preparing sales profitability reports by segment, order and customer.
• Implementing the work process and costing cycle.
• Preparing income statement on monthly basis.
• Monitoring all the variance ledgers in the ERP to insure that no material fluctuation occur during the closing.
• Analyze the budget on a regular basis to ensure that the company is on track financially and make budget recommendations if the company is not.
Responsibilities:
• To ensure the integrity of the company’s cash payments / receipts transactions.
• Ensuring that all invoices and expense claims are correctly approved according to company policy and entered into the ledgers in a timely manner.
• Ensuring that cash receipts / disbursements are processed on time and according to their invoices/contracts and that the method of payment is in accordance with company procedures and signed/approved by the correct person.
Working as cost Accountant for the company
Responsible for:
• Tracing product Direct costs ( Direct material, packaging and Direct labor costs )
• Ensuring accurate reporting and comments on Production variances and conversion costs.
• Preparing monthly reports includes ( DM Used, D.L Used, Cost of Goods manufactured & Ending W.I.P )
• Providing support to enhance forecasting new product costs.
• Controlling direct material inventory - in both Quantities and amount using W.A method - calculating direct material used and posting its related entries.
• Pricing D.M sold & preparing its monthly report.
• Analyzing D.M inventory and preparing reports to management.
• Extensive knowledge of Inventory management, stock take-over and its settlements.
• To provide operations management with financial information and Key Performance Indicators on Operations plans and activities, to facilitate effective decision-making and improve efficiency and effectiveness of spend.
• To co-ordinate the preparation of monthly, quarterly and annual budgets/forecasts.
B.Sc in Accounting from Faculty of Commerce ( English Department ) - Tanta University.
