Preparation of Telecommunication Bid & Proposals.
• Independently Study, understand and prepare competitive bids/ estimates/ quotations for Communication systems ( Wireless, SDH, PDH, Tele-protection PSE, LAN/WAN System, IP MPLS, RFTS, Power line carrier, RTU…) taking into account best available products mix and appropriate technical and commercial consideration for each individual situation as per Project Technical Specifications and Standards
• Manages the preparation of all technical, financial and project management aspects of the bid indicating prices and trading conditions
• Responsible for collecting and collating all information needed to prepare the proposal; Collect and archive documentation; analyze the reasons for tenders being lost and won
• Identifies potential risks in the bids, quotations and estimates and in any related contract agreement. Provide information and participate in the risk review process in accordance with ABB policy
• Handle Technical Clarifications and Meetings with the Customers / End clients related to Bid & Proposals.
• Support to Sales during Purchase Order review with respect to SOW.
• Technical support to Sales Team
• Discuss with other departments to insure the best solution
• Maintain knowledge of approved company vendors, estimating methods as well as Project execution procedures
Responsibilities:
• Meet customers to understand user requirements and come out with proposals.
• Negotiating Tender and contract terms and conditions to meet both client and company needs
• Providing Pre-Sales technical assistance and product education, and after-sales support services.
• Making technical presentations and demonstrating how a product or solution meets client needs.
• Support in tendering and bidding process.
• Fully support the customer needs
• Dealing with the Fiber/Copper Cables, Test equipment ( OTDR, SDH Analyzer, Power meter, Visual Fault Locator, LAN Tester, Site Analyzer….etc ) and accessories
• Dealing with all requirements for the contractors which are implementing FTTX.
• SDH Network Management through NMS, updating, circuit configuration.
• Monitoring in NMS: Alarm Management, Loop Testing and Traffic Shifting.
• Handing-over the services to the end customers by provisioning, configuring and testing the bandwidth on the network
• Configuration of Ethernet over SDH for IP RAN
• Perform Quality measures on the implemented circuits
• Involved with Radio/Fixed Network Implementation Department for
Re-homing
• Troubleshooting and Integration with Customer for final Acceptance
• Perform disconnection of old circuits.

• TNMS by Siemens
• U2000 by Huawei
• ITM-SC by Lucent
Network Rollout Dept/Site Engineering
• Six month work experience.
• Knowledge and good background about Huawei latest Wireless and microwave equipment (BTS3900- BTS3900A-DBS3900, BSC6900, Microwave System RTN 910, RTN620)
• Dealing with point-to-point (PTP) such as Microwave links and point-to-multipoint (PTMP) such as Point-to-multipoint Mobile Base Station Backhaul.
• Knowledge and good background about Radio technologies.
• Dealing with Huawei equipment (hardware structure, installation, connections and Software).
• Two months work experience as Site Integration Engineer In Sudan Office for Zain 2G&3G Swap & New Project.
Responsibilities:
• Subcontractor Management.
• Site survey, link test, coverage testing and optimization
• Perform site-surveys where necessary in order to determine Line of Sight, obstacles restrictions and Confirm visually.
• Perform site commissioning, cut over, re-routing of traffic and optimization.
• Evaluation and assurance of radio key performance before and after Site Swap, New sites, frequency and cell parameters
• Perform Site Acceptance Testing, documentations, Quality and Safety at site and processes, including interface with customer Field Engineers
• Establish good working relationship with Engineers and Technicians while working on site.
