• Represent the Client's interest at the Construction site and provide continuous liaison between all parties concerned and the Contractor. The consultant will also report on all matters requiring the Client's attentions via the DSC project-management team.
• Monitor construction programme and cash flow, in order to achieve completion of the construction within the time and budgets targets.
• Determine that the Contractor's work is preceding in general accordance with the intent of the contract documents and issue all necessary orders and instructions to the contractor to execute the work in accordance with the Contract Documents.
• Answer the Contractor's questions regarding any portion or provision of the contract documents so that he will execute the work in the proper manner.
• Establish onsite quality management procedures technical supervision programme to ensure the attainment of the required quality.
• Arrange regular technical co-ord. meetings to ensure smooth progress of construction.
• Prepare and submit to the Client a monthly report on the progress of the work during the preceding month and record any accidents reported to have taken place on the coordination site.
• Prepare and issue supplement field sketches or written instructions to modify or clarify any portion or provision of the Contract documents so that the original intent of the Contract Documents is clearly understood by the contractor in order that he can properly execute the work.
• Evaluate and study all material and equipment submitted by the Contractor's and analyze the effect of any alternatives on the Project cost and schedule and advise the Client.
• Review all Civil and Structural shop drawings and submissions and issue necessary instructions affecting their rectification if required.
• Provide final approval to all Civil and Structural materials, shop drawings, method statements and equipment submitted by the contractors, ensuring compliance with specification.
• Monitor all required testing such as concrete, soil etc. The Consultant's staff performing such tests will keep accurate records of the results of such tests or inspections and shall notify the Contractor accordingly.
• Carry out regular inspections on site to ensure performed work as per required standards.
• After substantial completion of all or a portion of the work by the Contractor, prepare lists of items, materials or systems deemed as requiring remedial work or replacement. Such lists of pre-final and final acceptance inspections will be submitted to the Client, followed up by reports of actions have taken by Contractor.
• Obtain from the Contractor and deliver to the Client all necessary operating manuals, maintenance instructions, warranties and guarantees on materials, necessary or contractually required.
• After approval of all works, testing and commissioning of all systems, checking and finalizing As-Built drawings, ensure smooth handling over of the project.

• Assist the RE with prompt exchange of correspondence, submittals and RFI's to all contractors.
• Monitor the progress of submittal review in coordination with core team.

• Assist the RE and QS in negotiations with contractor for the value of claims or change in schedule.
• Review the contractor's progress at all times. Monitor the work performed, the material incorporated in the work, the materials stored at site and the contractor's M.P & equip't.

• Ensure the correctness and completeness of as-built drawings.
• Assist in the final insp. of the work and monitor the final H.O of the completed facilities.

Steel Structural Engineer
• Installing 5000 tons of steel as 1st. phase for five stories steel structure beneath Apron level for Airplanes.
• 2nd. Phase is installing 10000 tons of steel linking with huge concrete mass for Terminal III and Concourse II in Dubai Airport.
• Coordinate with client, government and regulatory authorities to get approvals were part of my responsibilities.
• Monitor sub-consultants, contractors and other third parties to ensure work in progress is as per schedule and company strategy.

Resident Engineer
• I have represented the company Canadian Nexen in office and field coordination to civil and construction works relevant to the Oil processing facilities, structures, buildings and roads also, to carry out lease construction for rig installation and preparations, cathodic protection for MOL (dia. 24") and maintenance, blow down ponds, sand castle construction in Terminal station, road construction and maintenance dealing with seven contractors and eleven sub-contractors in meetings and interface with the entire on site dept. as required to resolve the technical site glitches and to ensure the quality of construction.

• I was working as a project engineer for numerous Structural (concrete & steel) works in Mabruk Oil Field / Libyan Desert for both "on-site" & "off-site" utilities.
• Design all concrete slabs for generators and transformers with all relations. Design concrete blocks to absorb the thermal expansion / contraction for main oil lines.
• Documentation, interpretation, and implementation of codes and specifications as well as responsible for Civil, Mechanical and Electrical drawings dealing with TOTAL the French Co. for Oil productions as a Client.

• Duties and responsibilities include; Design for Structural works like slabs, water tanks, box culvert, retaining walls, also, Hydraulics system like water networks and irrigation system by sprinklers.

• Scope of Work is transferring treated potable water from natural main reservoir in Tazarbo and Sarir fields / Southeast to main artificial reservoir in Sert / Northernmost part of Libya and distributes water for all natural farms from Sert to Benghazi in 500 kM.
• Design concrete slabs for generators and transformers, also, foundation of machines.
