Package 1
Line 1 (Blue Line) runs in the North-South direction along Olaya and Batha streets, starting from
slightly north of Prince Salman Bin Abdul Aziz Street and ending at Dar Al Badia neighborhood
in the south. The Metro will be mostly underground in a bored tunnel along Olaya and King
Faisal Streets, and elevated on a viaduct along Batha Street and at the features 22 stations, in
addition to 4 transfer stations with Lines 2, 3, 5, and 4 & 6. Northern and southern ends, Line 1
extends over a length of approximately 38 Km and
Line 2 (Red Line) runs in the East-West direction along King Abdullah Road, between King Saud
University and the Eastern Sub-Center, mostly on a raised strip in the median of the planned
freeway. This Line extends over a length of about 25.3 Km and features 13 stations, in addition
to 3 transfer stations with Lines 1, 5 and 6

• Managing and Identification of the Master detailed Schedule and critical path(s) with Cost
and resource loading.
• Study the Scope of work for the engineering, procurement, fabrication, construction and Pre-
Comm. & Commissioning to develop fully integrated schedules that are in sufficient detail to
ensure all deliverable dates are clearly established and contractual requirements are met and
to ensure optimum resources leveling and distribution.
• To ensure compliance with agreed program and coordination schedules by all parties and Co-
ordination with stakeholders to develop the schedule.
• Establishing provisions in the contract for submission and approval of planning and control
Package (Progress monitoring system, overall project s-curve, resources histogram, cash flow,
invoicing procedure, Planning and report procedure, etc.…).
• Identify long lead items and ensure timely engineering and preparation of material and
purchase requisitions.
• Identify progress calculation methods for Engineering, procurement register and as built
handing over dossier with respect to contract.
• Translating estimate costs into a project budget segregated by Mustang’s code of accounts.
Monitoring Tasks
• Issuing weekly progress job cards for all project activities with respect to project priority for
progress calculation.
• Verifying actual activities timeline, Progress against planed and identifying areas of
potential Time, Progress overrun which require corrective action.
• Monitoring the productivity using earned value and actual spent man-hours and comparing
it to the company norms and rates
• Calculate the forecast cost of the different work packages based on the percent completion
and productivity
• Identifying special project cost instructions and incorporate them into the project cost
report system.
• Preparation of impact analysis programmes as supporting documentation for claim
• Manage projected risks and provide mitigation strategies for successful Project delivery
• Prepare project invoicing based on Engineering, procurement & Construction with all
supporting documentation
