TiME Qatar is a Joint Venture between Turner International Middle East and Msheireb Properties.

Msheireb Downtown Doha (MDD) Project details:
Project budget 20 Bn QR;
Project timetable - construction commenced 2010 through 4 phases, program to completion in 2016.
Total buildings 100+, 3 to 22 storey. LEED Gold.

PHASE 4 - December 2013 - present.
Design Manager with TiME Qatar on the Msheireb Downtown Doha project with responsibility to deliver 12 mixed use buildings over Qatar Rail Doha Metro within a small team.

Phase 4 of the development consist of a major public plaza and 4 superblocks with a connected basement (5-6 floors) containing below grade parking and servicing.
12 Mixed Use Buildings being constructed over Msheireb Metro Box/ Qatar Rail.

The proposed building uses include commercial office buildings residential, retail and hotel components and a medical office building / police station and post office.
Responsibility for full design management, from Schematic Design (SD), to DD, Tender and IFC.

Responsible to Design Director, TiME.

Executive Architect -HOK Washington DC /Toronto/London/UAE, MEP -, Engineering- Ramboll.

Roles and responsibilities.

• Managing and coordination of architectural and engineering consultants on multiple numbers of multi storey mixed use towers with responsibility for project coordination of, Architectural, Engineering, Facades, MEP, RFI`s, materials/finishes; submittals; elevators, LLS and all design information under FIDIC contract.
• FF&E /Design management of 150 key 3 * hotel with “Hyatt Place” Hotel and stakeholders.
• Design Management of Architectural designers (EA`s) and liaison with stakeholders.
• Tender preparation and issue of awarded contract
• Regular meetings with Client (Msheireb Properties) and interface with Qatar Rail.

PHASE 3 - November 2012-December 2013.
Design Manager with TiME Qatar on the Msheireb Downtown Doha project with full responsibility to deliver a 22 storey, 5* hotel for “Park Hyatt”.

Hotel details: 5-star hotel with 187 bedrooms .29, 872 sq. m - G+21.
Budget 310 M QR base build / 151 M QR fit out contract - Hotel contract sum 461 M QR.
Executive Architect -Gensler NY/London, Interior Designers -Crème (F&B) NY, Ong and Ong interiors/ Singapore, MEP -Atelier Ten, Engineering- Burro Happold, lighting designer, -Arc NY, Design Architect (DA)- John McAslan Partnership UK.

Roles and responsibilities.

• Full project design management, from concept design, through schematic to DD, tender and IFC.F&B / ID workshops, operator approvals, mock up tender and approval, delivery, budget, programming, liaison with Client, Executive Architect (EA) and Design Team.
Hotel contract procured initially as shell and core with fit out bulletin within Main Contract.

General Project details -30 towers ……All parcels have 5 basements and towers range from 32m (8 floors) to 303m; 66
floors).
Most towers are multi-use functions such as retail, offices, residential; parking and utilities. Two parcels are exclusively
for Intercontinental Group.
Directly responsible for the management of around 70 architectural and engineering staff at zone 4 of King Abdullah
Financial District, Riyadh to deliver 10 towers within D&B contract.
Responsibility for all technical information for 10 parcels (towers) up to 48 floors including all coordination of facades,
MEP, Architectural, Engineering and landscaping for zone 4 including “shop drawing” management, RFI`s,
materials/finishes; submittals; vertical transportation and all design information being issued for construction under
FIDIC D&B contract.
Liaising with LDA`s and client's representative consultant /project manager Dar Al Riyadh (DAR); and daily management
of staff and resources.
Regular meetings with senior managers and clients PM consultant.
Architectural designers include; Perkins and Will, SOM, Foster and Partners, HLA, RMJM, Gensler, RTKL, FX Fowle and

Hotel Indigo KAFD, the first Hotel Indigo to open its doors in the Middle East, will feature 225 keys, an all-day dining
restaurant, a specialty restaurant, and a lobby lounge café. The hotel will also include a business center, three meeting

Direct management of a distressed property portfolio. A unique experience of appraising and working through sites alongside developers, through difficult market conditions.

My role as well as Business Development was to mentor and manage a number of Regional Developers within SPV companies.
I was responsible for preparing the business plan and credit papers for both senior and mezzanine finance; the complete due diligence on the development, certification and release of funds on valuation and all corporate and plc reporting.
