Support the Owner’s Project Management Teams (PMTs) and EPC Contractors in preservation activities and tasks as required.
Responsible for ensuring the PMT and EPC Contractor properly meets Owner preservation needs and expectations.
Support the CPMC Director in execution, administrative, and reporting activities required by the EPC WERs and contracts with the Owner.
Ensure Sadara Preservation requirements are met.
Interface / communicate with Program and Project Teams to coordinate activities and address issues. Communicate common issues and key learnings to the Program and Project teams.
Monitor the EPC Contractor’s Equipment Preservation Plan and Spare Parts Plan to ensure equipment is properly preserved and maintained.
Perform scheduled audits of the equipment preservation activities. Provide training, identify resource needs, and perform scheduled audits of the equipment preservation activities.
Approve and monitor EPC Contractor’s Master Preservation Schedule.
Review plant outfitting bills of material to determine types of preservation required.
Ensure all execution, administrative, and reporting requirements of the EPC WERs and contracts are met.
Ensure that any proposed modifications to Program core documents receive the proper review and approval by the Program Leadership, and appropriate Technology Resource Leaders before changes are implemented.
Ensure that program procedures and work processes are fully executed by the project teams, PMT/EPC Contractors, suppliers, and other contractors.
Scoping, defining and estimating of labor, material and equipment components requirement for turnaround works execution.
Prepare purchase requisition of turnaround materials and evaluate vendor's proposal to determine compliance with the required specification.
Prepare cost estimate, bid-out, evaluate contractor's proposal for the execution of the turnaround works and prepare contract award endorsement.
Prepare annual turnaround budget for the assigned area of responsibility.
Prepare turnaround schedule in Microsoft Project or in P6 and allocate budgeted quantities, labor and equipment in the daily turnaround-planned activities.
Act as principal contact with operations, engineering and contractors for all turnaround issues and concerns during execution.
Prepare cost estimate of the additional works, evaluate contractor's proposal for the execution of the additional works and prepare necessary Field Change Authorization.
Review and monitor turnaround expense and prepare year-end accruals.
Incorporate changes in turnaround job plans/estimates and monitor/benchmark resource utilization for future use.
Acquire a satisfactory level of proficiency in a variety of software/programs used in both routine and turnaround maintenance (e. g. P6, SAP and other related software.)
Prepare post turnaround appraisal report.
To perform in construction activities, to ensure compliance in Clients Standards, ISO Standards and International Codes such as ASME Sec I, V, VIII and IX, API 610 & 617, and API 686 etc.
Custodian of all Preservation/Maintenance, Pre-Commissioning & Commissioning, Installation, Operation, Maintenance and Troubleshooting of Rotating Equipment such as Gas Compressor (Kobelco and Elliot Ebarra), Blower (Man Diesel), API Centrifugal Pumps and Air Fin Coolers .
Assist with establishing standards, checklists and guidance to promote a consistent Preventative Maintenance Program for all Rotating/Static Equipment.
Provide technical support for establishing, controlling and promoting Preventive Maintenance standards as necessary for the development and implementation of an efficient and effective Preventive Maintenance program for the Project.
Liaise directly with QA/QC Dep’t. and Construction to develop and distribute preventive maintenance policies, procedures, work instructions (PM routines), maintenance alerts, and equipment preservation for new equipment in the project.

Provides leadership in achieving safety goals. Ensures on-going safety awareness for facilities department and ensures that various environmental and safety regulatory requirements are met.

To perform all types of equipment inspection such as inspections that require the use of spirit level, machinist precision level, micrometer, transit, dial gauge indicator, theodolite, calipers etc. to ensure that the equipment installed and aligned meets the Saudi Aramco Standards, Manufacturers, and ASME / API Code requirements.
Coordinate Preservation Group for proper Storage and Preservation of all Static and Rotating Equipment that meets the requirements of Manufacturer’s and Saudi Aramco Standards.
To perform variety of complex inspection functions in Static & Rotating Mechanical Equipment with the witness of QC (BTJV), and the Client Project Management Team (PMT) & Project Inspection Division (PID).
Coordinating the inspection and test requirements on behalf of the QC Section Head with the Client (Saudi Aramco).
Complete relevant forms and prepare Request for Inspection (RFI), Checklists, reports on inspections and test undertaken for the conclusion in and inspection records.
Issue Non Conformance Reports(NCRs) for all violations generated by the Construction, Sub-contractors and investigate the causes of non-conforming items, and initiate corrective actions to prevent recurrence of nonconformities.
Ensure that the documentation generated by the inspections, Request for Inspection (RFI), Checklists, test and surveillance meets the requirements of the Project Quality Plan.
Responsible for setting product and process standards for the manufacture of tennis and squash balls through laboratory and industrial experimentation manufacturing process validation and manufacturing pilot testing.
Develop and establish process and product specification and work instructions for assuring quality of products.
Qualify new raw materials, material substitutes and/or alternate sources and establish appropriate specifications and guidelines.
