- To identify legal strategic objectives and contribute to the formulation of Legal strategy, as well as to direct and provide operational oversight on all legal activities, ensuring the mitigation and elimination of any legal exposure and risks while enforcing adherence to all laws and regulations in order to protect the legal interests of NADEC.

- Intellectual Rights and Trademarks Management: Register trademarks inside and outside KSA, follow up on their registration, expiration, renewals, infringements and cancellations and make the necessary arrangements and procedures to overcome disputes and problems associated with trademarks.

- Organize the registration and the renewal of all licenses, memorandum of association, to ensure seamless operations of all entities within NADEC.

- Advisory: Provide legal advice and recommendations to assist the executive board on critical legal matters with the decision-making process to safeguard and protect the legal interests of NADEC against any legal liability.

- Direct the management of various litigation and dispute settlement activities and legal negotiations to ensure that NADEC rights and interests are protected.

- Review and manage rights with third parties, JVs, and business partners to ensure the organization’s interests are adequately protected and direct the initiation of litigation or court process as necessary

- Follow up with NADEC’s business units’ managers on critical legal issues to provide legal advice when required and support the business units in making related decisions.

- Oversee the appointment of external legal advisers who may be retained for specific expertise.

- Legal Representation: Guide the preparation and review of contracts, agreements and documents for external procurement, joint ventures, share purchases, business acquisitions, licensing, leasing, etc. to ensure the completeness and correctness of documents according to the laws in the KSA, in addition to setting the policies and legal requirements of NADEC.
