Maintenance Enforcement Program (MEP), electrical distribution design review, materials and cost review, work schedule monitoring and problem analysis
1. Prepare technical work scope of Saudi ARAMCO projects for bidding purposes.
2. Review plans and drawings for the electrical equipments and fixtures indicated on the drawings to ensure that all the data is correct and with in international standard and codes. Propose changes if there is discrepancy on the standard & codes.
3. Ensure that all the MV and LV electrical equipments (transformers, LBS, switchgears, switchboard, panel board, motor control compartment, disconnecting panel and ring main unit); component devices and fixtures (fluorescent, hi bay, flood light, outlet, switches, emergency light, exit lights, smoke and heat detectors) and materials (wires, conduits, cable trays, splicing/junction box) are within SAUDI ARAMCO Standards and according to the approved plans.
4. Prepare the technical specification of materials, equipments, devices, fixtures, components, accessories needed in the projects and ensure that it is mention/written in the scope of works and/or in the drawings.
5. Prepare variation order, amendments and addendum on the scope of works if there is a discrepancy on the actual works and materials differences.
In-charge in all electrical works in the following projects
a. Sludge Treatment Plant - Yanbu, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia - 4.5MUSD
Installation of Horizontal Disc Dryer, Pelletizing Machine, Screw Conveyors, Packing machine, Thermal Oil Boiler, Pumps, Transformers, MV & LV Supply (Switchgear, Panels & cablings), Telephone & Data system, Fire Detection & Alarm system, Control & Instrumentation System, Overhead Cranes, External Lightings, grounding protections & Lightning protection systems.
b. Sewerage Treatment Plant - Al-Nabah, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia - 1.33MUSD
Installation of Transformers, MV & LV Supply (Switchgear, Panels & cablings), decanter machine, pumps, Telephone & data system, Fire detection & alarm system, Control & Instrumentation system, external lightings, grounding protection & lightning protection system.
c. Expansion of RO & Water Treatment Plant Project (30, 000 M3/day) - ARAR, Riyadh, KSA - 30MUSD
Installation of well pumps (9 units, 1kv, 130kw), 33 KV transmission pole lines (18 KM), Generator (4 unit, 1800 KVA, 13.8KV), transformers, Pumps, MV & LV Supply (Switchgear, panels & cablings), Telephone & data system, Fire detection & Alarm system, Control & Instrumentation system, Overhead cranes, external lightings, grounding protection & lightning protection system.
d. New RO & Water Treatment Plant - Abo Arish, Jizan Kingdom of Saudi Arabia - 35MUSD
Installation of 33 KV transmission pole lines (30 KM), Generator (4 unit, 1800 KVA, 13.8KV), transformers, Pumps, MV & LV Supply (Switchgear, panels & cablings), Telephone & data system, Fire detection & Alarm system, Control & Instrumentation system, Overhead cranes, external lightings, grounding protection & lightning protection system.
To handle all works in preventive and corrective maintenance of plant machine, equipments and auxiliaries. Maintain communications and relations as are necessary to report on the status of matters requiring action and to ensure that corrective action is undertaken. Helps Maintenance Manager in executing corrective and planned maintenance with due regard to annual scheduled maintenance plan.
To handle all QC works in construction of Dining Facility (DFAC), K-span building, Vehicle Maintenance building, Bath House, Medical building, Gymnasium, Theater, Barracks and officers barracks. And Supervise to Subcontractors in their day to day activities. Prepare, review and updates schedules with Project Manager, QC Manager & QC Superintendent to ensure that the projects and/or works by the sub-contractors are with-in the target dates. Monitoring, checking and evaluating the activities done by the sub-contractors. Supervise the work done by the QC Superintendent/Engineers in construction and safety works..
I. To handle all works in the Facilities Department (Supervise Electrical, Mechanical & Civil)
II. To handle all works in the overall planning, operation, maintenance and safety of Facilities Equipment and their Manpower such as :
8 units - 1.50 MW, 6.6 KV, 3 Phase, YANMAR Diesel Engine Generator
5 units - 350 tons centrifugal Hitachi Chillers
4 units - 300 tons Centrifugal Mc quay Chillers
3 units - 200 tons Compressor Carrier Chillers
11 units - 75 KW Hitachi Air compressors
49 units - Air Handling units (AHU)
1 unit - liquid waste incinerator (not operational due to clean air act)
2 unit - Waste Water Treatment and recycled Water Treatment Plant
2 unit - Water Treatment Plant
3 unit - Power Substation (34.5 KV, 6.6 KV & 44O/220V & 180/110 V)
III. To handle all works in the construction of new buildings, renovation, modification of facilities and installation, commissioning and testing of new equipments used in the power generation and distribution.
IV. To ensure that the ISO 9001, 14001 & Safety procedures/standard shall practice/implement at the work place
To handle all works in the planning section of power plants for the monitoring, planning and implementation of plant operation and maintenance.
1. Responsible in the safety awareness of the employees, conduct emergency fire drill and evacuation, report emergency situation and investigate the incident/accident and make some countermeasure to prevent or eliminate the recurrence.
2. Responsible in the preparation of department budget for plant operation and maintenance and construction, renovation & modification works.
3. Responsible in the consolidation of plant budget form operation and maintenance section and responsible in the procurement/purchasing of the materials needed in the operation and maintenance of the plant.
4. Develops and maintain a cost-effective system of day to day preventive maintenance, repair and operation of plant equipment, machineries and Facility.
5. Plans, scheduled, review and implement preventive maintenance programs, methods and procedure in accordance with the establish standards and quality.
6. Control and maintain an effective and economical cost of maintenance, repair and replacement with in the budget.
Responsible for the overall planning, leading, Organizing and Controlling of all Electrical/Electronic activities relating to the safe and efficient maintenance, repair and operation of all power generating units and its auxiliaries, such as;
2 units - 36 tons/hour Coal Fired Boiler (SGP)
2 units - 7.5 MW Steam Turbine Generator
2 units - 1.5 MW Diesel Engine Generator (NIIGATA)
1 unit - 1.2 MW Diesel Engine Gnerator (CUMMINS)
Given an authority by the shift Engineer to handle all works regarding for the operation and maintenance of the machine equipments in the buildings such as;
5 units 4.16 KV, 380 Y / 220 V, 1 MW emergency stand by generator (Caterpillar); 5 units 34.5 KV / 380/ 220 V, 5 MW substation; 7 units 125 KVA uninterrupted power supply banks (UPS); 1 unit 380 V, 200 HP electrical Fire Pump; 1 unit 200 HP diesel fire pump, 4 units 350 tons, 380 v centrifugal chillers and 4 units passenger elevators.
1. Responsible in the installation of main power panel, distribution panel, power meter, lighting and outlets of the project contracted
2. Report to electrical Foreman all works completed and remaining works needed
3. Reading electrical plans, given by the electrical foreman for the projects
4. Lay out and installation of Conduits and wirings
5. Tapping of electrical wiring and main service entrance wire
6. Responsible in the checking/testing of the electrical power outlets and lighting fixtures
