Components & System Acceptance Test and Functional Test of
6.6KV Vacuum Circuit Breaker, 6.6KV/415 Dry Type Distribution Transformer, Low Voltage Enclosed Bus Duct, Low Voltage Switchgear (LVSS), Emergency Low Voltage Switchgear (LVSS), Automatic Transfer Switch (ATS), Power Monitoring Control System Panel, Distribution Panels, Uninterruptible Power Supply (UPS), Power & Lighting Panels, Disconnect Switches & Motor Controllers, Lighting Inverter Panels, Lighting Transfer Switches & Apron Floodlight System.
Responsible for ensuring that the Quality shall conform to the client’s and/or contractual requirements.
Shall monitor, perform, witness and document all Quality Control inspection and tests in the area of responsibility.
To implement the Field Quality Control at site and review the “Request for Inspection.
To verify that all necessary, updated and latest documents are available and used during inspection.
Ensure that only calibrated test equipment shall be used in quality test and inspection.
To perform the Field Testing and Inspection activities for Electrical & Special Systems include Instrumentation Works with client representative as per “Inspection Test Plan” \[ITP\] and relevant Project Specification.
Review all the necessary inspection records and reports, and sign off of the records and reports, ensure inspection and test results meet the project requirements, and relevant inspection and test reports are signed-off by Client’s.
Prepare, review, implement and monitor construction activities to ensure the conformance to project requirements and specified Method Statement and QA/QC procedures.
Reports and to discussed with Field QA/QC Manager any quality problems and non-conformities encountered at site.
Perform and document Material Receiving Reports and conduct off-site inspection.
• • Monitor and Quality check on site ensuring that all Materials & Installation for all MEP System Installation such as (Low Voltage System, Small Power System, Lighting System, Fire Alarm System, Building Management System, Guest Room Management System, Lighting Control System, IT/AV System & Access Control System, HVAC & Control Instrumentation System, Fire Fighting System, Plumbing System, Drainage & Sanitary System, as per Approved Shop Drawings, Approved Materials Submittals, Project Specification & Qatar Construction Specification, Approved Method Statement & Approved Inspection Test Plan.
• Conduct On-Site Visual and Testing Inspection for all MEP System activities as per Project Requirements.
• Conduct On-Site Visual Inspection of all Delivered MEP System Construction Materials & Equipment’s as Project Requirements.
• Prepare, Evaluation & Review of Daily, Weekly and Monthly Inspection Report for all MEP System.
• Review Approved MEP (Shop Drawings, Material Submittals, Method Statements, Inspection Test Plan & Project Quality Plan & Quality Action Plan), Project Specification, Qatar Construction Specification & other Project Standards.
• Coordination with Architectural, Civil, Structural & Sub-Contractor with regards to MEP System activities.
• Prepare, Review & Control of Site Observation Report, Corrective Action Report & Non-Conformance Report to undertake remedial action for all MEP System activities.
• Performs other related duties as assigned by immediate superior as requested and deemed necessary.
• Monitor and Quality check of work on site for all Mechanical System, Electrical (LV & ELV) System, HVAC System, Plumbing System, Drainage System, Fire Fighting System, Audio & Visual and Special System.
• On-Site Visual and Testing Inspection for all MEP activities.
• On-Site Visual Inspection of Delivered Construction Materials & Equipment’s.
• Prepare Weekly and Monthly Inspection Report.
• Review Method Statements, Inspection Test Plan and other activities Check List.
• Coordination with Architectural, Civil, Structural & Sub-Contractor with regards to MEP Activities.
• Reviewing MEP Shop Drawing and Project Specification.
• Reviewing and evaluation of Project Reports.
