-Proactively ensure the highest levels of systems and infrastructure availability and
stability.
- Maintain security, backup, and redundancy strategies
- Implement cloud and virtualization solutions, high availability, and business
continuity.
- Participate in client meetings for technical discussions, presentations and
negotiations with C-level executives.
- Participate in the design of information and operational support systems.
- Provide 2nd and 3rd level support by resolving client issues through intervention
onsite or remotely.
- Monitor and test application performance for potential bottlenecks, identify
possible solutions.
- Liaise with vendors and other IT personnel for problem resolution.
- Write and maintain custom scripts to increase system efficiency and lower the
human intervention time on any tasks.
- Planning and implementing various systems that employ:
* Hyperconverged, virtualization and virtual desktop infrastructure solutions (Huawei, Microsoft, Vmware, Citrix)
* Back up & disaster recovery solutions (Veeam, Veritas, Huawei)
* Endpoint security solutions (Sophos, Kaspersky)
* Enterprise storage solutions (HP, Huawei, Qnap, Synology).
* Microsoft solutions on premise & cloud (Exchange, Skype for Business, Active Directory, Failover Clustering, Office365, Azure AD)

-Assist IT Manager with new and ongoing projects including research and
architecture design and implementation of new platforms and systems.
- Review diagnostics and assess the functionality and efficiency of organization’s
system.
- Deploy and configure firewalls, networking and wireless equipment (Cisco,
Sophos, Clavister, HP, Fortinet).
- Install servers and infrastructure equipment (HP, Dell, IBM, Lenovo).
- Set up virtualization environments and mailing solutions (Vmware, Hyper-v,
Citrix, Exchange, Mdaemon).
- Manage O365 and endpoint protection solutions (Kaspersky, Sophos, Eset).
- Co-ordinate repairs and preventive maintenance of hardware and software.
- Plan full scale deployments and upgrades of hardware and software.

-Organize schedules to complete various tasks to support clients.
- Perform troubleshooting, repairs and data restoration.
- Maintain licenses and upgrade schedules.
- Survey potential client IT infrastructure and plan improvements.
- Optimize local networks and maintain virtual private networks.
- Procurement of IT hardware, software, maintenance products & services.
- Maintain records and documentations.
- Design and organize active directory and policies.
- Deploy and configure firewalls, L2/3 switches, wireless controllers and access
points.
- Deploy and maintain virtualization, backup & DR, endpoint security and mailing
solutions.
