* Ensure that approved emergency procedures are well established, and all individuals are aware of their
respective roles. Ensures that emergency equipment is in place and maintained.
* Coordinate and participate in emergency drills to ensure that procedures are workable and effective.
* Carry out investigations into the causes of HSE related incidents and prepares reports with proposals for
remedial actions.
* Act as CCC client representative on HSE matters for coordinating and conducting site inspections.
* Assist in preparation of site and project specific operating procedures to ensure contract obligations are

* Undertake daily inspection tours in the area of responsibility to ensure implementation of, and adherence to,
the procedures set out in the HSE Site Plan, Group HSE Manual and any additional project requirements.
* Take necessary action to rectify breaches of procedures or newly identified hazards, to ensure safe working
conditions. Refers more complex issues to a more senior HSE authority.
* Liaise with and advice construction representatives of all disciplines to ensure full understanding of and
adherence to HSE standards.
* Identify potential hazards on new contracts before work commences and take action to have it rectified.
* Advise about the site/work area safety organization and fire precautions required.
* Supervise and report the recording, analysis of information on injuries, damage and production loss, access
accident trends and review overall safety performance.
