1.Book keeping and invoicing, payment follow - up and ensuring an accurate timely monthly, quarterly and year end close and ensuring timely reporting of all monthly financial information
2.Assist the GFM in the daily banking requirements and ensure accurate timely processing of positive pay transactions and ensuring Bank Compliance activities are performed in a timely and accurate manner.
3.Monitors and analyzes department work to develop more efficient procedures and use of resources while maintaining a high level of accuracy.
4.Responds to inquiries from the GFM, and other finance and firm wide managers regarding financial results, special reporting requests and the like.
5.Work with the GFM to ensure a clean and timely yearend audit.
6.Supervise the general ledger group to ensure all financial reporting deadlines are met.
7.Handle personnel issues relating to staff conflicts, absenteeism, performance issues, and to assist in development and implementation of new procedures and features to enhance the workflow of the department.
8.Work with each direct report to establish goals and objectives for each year and monitor and advice on the progress to enhance the professional development of staff.
9.Support GFM with special projects and workflow process improvements.
