I have been working in the corporate credit field for more than five years in three local banks. During my work experience I was responsible for evaluating corporate credit proposals for large & medium size companies and making recommendation to the Head of Credit Committee & Executive Committee by analyzing the client’s performance which include conducting full financial analysis, and highlighting the key major risks to ensure that the credit propositions meet the bank laid down guidelines and quality. The job’s main functions are as follows:
¬Reviewing the client’s financial capacity, business profile, industry position, repayment capability, collateral adequacy, and projecting future financial statements if needed.
¬Ensuring credit facilities have been properly structured, priced and collateral is adequate & there isn’t any violation of internal or external regulations/policies.
¬ Ensuring that credit applications are in-line with compliance credit policy, regulatory requirements, procedures of the bank and highlight exceptions if any.
¬Managing regional portfolio by insuring all excess &PD’s are settled or discussing an action plan with business heads to be settled.
Completed a 7 months COOP at (SABB) the Saudi British bank, the program was considered as part of my graduation requirements.
