Job Description:
1. Acting as chief engineer of the group and responsible of the technical integrity of electrical deliverables of current project.
2. Prepare and adjust one month look ahead for planned engineering submittals.
3. Attend and engage with client technical meetings and Workshop meetings for technical issues resolution and economic design optimization by applying contract documents, Specifications, accepted principals, codes and standards.
4. Preparation of electrical engineering technical notes, reports and request for information.
5. Take active role in design reviews, design validation, technical audits and squad check reviews & ensure electrical design is completed with high degree of quality.
6. Working with project team to ensure successfully delivery of electrical engineering input, manage staff ensuring successful technical delivery or project documentation, and executing duties in accordance with Contract requirements.
7. Review and approve material and equipment for electrical systems.
8. Coordinate activities, materials procurement, Cost Control, budgetary issues and other related activities with Construction Manager and Field Staff.
9. Supervise review, preparation and coordination of Electrical packages Design and shop drawings submittals
10. Act as the focal point for liaison between Project consultant, civil defense specialist and Civil Defense General Directorate (CDGD)
11. Conduct building and fire code reviews and analyses with regard to Fire Alarm & & Life Safety Systems including Interface with Various Third Party System such as all type of Water Based System, Gas Suppression, HVAC / Smoke Control System / BMS / Access Control / Security Management System and special hazard systems.
12. Preparation of Method statement. Testing and commissioning procedures for Electrical, Fire and Life safety systems, reports & submitting to client as part of project closeout procedure

1. Generally responsible for implementations & monitoring of all electrical related works at site like small power, lighting and lighting control systems, MV network, LV network, cables routing and termination, Earthing, lightning protection, Electrical Panels, control systems, low current systems, testing and commissioning.
2. Estimates, prepares and assigns the resources such as manpower, materials, consumables, equipment, tools, etc., required for all electrical and related works prior to execution.
3. Keep track of all materials needed on site and receive periodic material delivery status and highlight any potential problem that might delay the job (Material List / Log Forecast).
4. Plans and analyses all possible construction methodologies and recommends the best options to Zone Manager for approval prior to execution at site.
5. Interprets construction drawings and studies the contract documents and applicable standards or specifications prior to execution of any jobs.
6. Ensures that all the works done are in accordance with the approved construction drawings, contract documents, project specifications, and all applicable standards whether local, national or international standards.
7. Manages directly and provide engineering and technical supports to all the electrical work groups at site and coordinates the works to mechanical and civil groups.
8. Plans the execution of all electrical works, Coordinates with Construction manager and quality inspectors for any site instructions & inspection of works
9. Submits site daily reports, inspection requests, estimates and all applicable monitoring reports on regular basis or as required.
10. Possess strong communication within a team of Sr. Engineers, Construction Managers, Safety Coordinators, Quality Engineers, Planners, Material Dept. and Logistics.
11. Regular meetings with senior and other engineers to discuss relevant problems faced on site in order to find feasible solutions and to avoid repetitive inaccuracies.
12. Ensures safety procedures are being implemented, and embraces a safety culture in day to day work activities.

1. Review design competition and submit recommendation on the selection of contractors
2. Coordinate with the design team on MEP aspects of the design.
3. Review the Electrical drawings (DESIGN, IFC and AFC Drawings), reports, specification submitted to ensure completeness, correctness, comply with the scope of work and requirements.
4. Interprets and implement shop-drawings and applicable standards or specifications prior to execution of any jobs.
5. Review alternatives to the Design submitted, prepare and submit a report including recommendation to Consultant highlighting advantages and disadvantages of each alternative.
6. Ensure compliance of quality submittals (materials, method statements and work procedures) with the project specifications and scope of work
7. Review and assist with solutions when there are issues from Contractor’s submittals and the Consultant’s replies concerning the timely processing of shop drawings
8. Attend value-engineering workshops early in the design stage with the other project staff and review the productivity of each of the stages of the Electrical design produced by the Consultant.
9. Prepare and issue monthly project reports to the project manager.
10. Conduct checks that include ongoing construction work, material deliveries and off site testing and inspection surveillances reports. This will include surveillance reports, non-conformance reports and verification of corrective actions.
11. Maintain project documentation and reporting to communicate clear status of projects, key timings, issues & risks.
12. Drive delivery of project according to agreed project plan escalating issues as appropriate.
13. Preparing and monitoring of internal NCR, CAR log with its status.
14. Attend Technical meetings with the Contractor’s Sub- Consultants, and other members of the Project Management team when required.
15. Coordinate with the Document Controller to ensure that all Documents related to his discipline are properly controlled.
16. Review and approve product data, samples, and inspection and test reports.
17. Ensure that as-built drawings and operations and maintenance manuals are in order.

1. Experienced in studying load calculations according to NFPA-NEC 70, IEC.
2. Preparing shop and as built drawings according to contract drawing for all low voltage system for consultant approval.
3. Installation of all Low Voltage system equipment comprising power MDB's and local panels, motor's control panels, feeder cables, cable tray routing, lighting and power systems, earthing and lightning protection systems, etc…..
4. Installation of all Low current systems comprising Data/telecom system, SMATV/IFTV systems, conventional, addressable fire alarm systems, IP CCTV systems, Access control systems, public address system and Building Management Systems (BMS).

Job Description:
Project: SINIA GREY CEMENT PLANT (line 2). ALARISH, EGYPT.

1.Assist Discipline Chief and supervise all field installation and site work in certain area (cooler and cement and packing substations) in accordance with "Specifications" and "Drawings".
2.design and erection of project electrical substations that comprises ( power transformer, M.V cell, 110 VDC, MCC, PLC panel, ACC panel, lighting panel, UPS/Batteries, UPS transformer, ABB motor drives, routing of medium and low and control voltage levels.
3.Design and erection of project service building and utilities. Power distribution, power MDB's, cable sizing, routing, laying, lighting installation, grounding system and Field Instrumentation.
