Own the accountability structure, information dissemination and general operations for the sales organization as it supports and enables inside and outside sales teams.
Map, document, and continually improve processes to facilitate sales performance and predictability.
Lead the selection, design, implementation and administration of technology tools and process needed to enable sales effectiveness and forecasting.
Oversee creation of effective numerical models of activity metrics needed to meet sales goals and then oversee the reporting, tracking and achievement of those metrics.
Oversee development, design and management of effective Incentive/Compensation plans.
Oversee reporting tools and manage reporting requests for the sales & marketing departments to analyze and monitor their performance at various levels.
Manage development of internal audits and controls to ensure integrity of business processes.
Acts as a liaison with other departments by understanding and facilitating the sales model.
Communicate and provide information by relevant methods internally and externally to assist and enable organizational operations and effective service to connecting groups.
Create financial and statistical tools and reports using spreadsheets.
Manage, organize, and update relevant data using database applications.
Analyze and interpret financial statistics and other data and produce relevant reports.
Research and investigate information to enable strategic decision-making by others.
Arrange and participate in meetings, conferences, and project team activities.
Adhere to procedures relating to the proper use and care of equipment and materials for which the role has responsibility.
Plan and prioritize personal sales activities and customer/prospect contact towards achieving agreed business aims, including costs and sales - especially managing personal time and productivity.
Maintain and develop existing and new customers through appropriate propositions and ethical sales methods, and relevant internal liaison, to optimize quality of service, business growth, and customer and satisfaction.
Use customer and prospect contact activities tools and systems, and update relevant information held in these systems.
Respond to and follow up sales enquiries using appropriate methods.
Monitor and report on market and competitor activities and provide relevant reports and information.
Attend and present at external customer meetings and internal meetings with other company functions necessary to perform duties and aid business development.
Attend training and to develop relevant knowledge, techniques and skills.
Maintains the various ledger accounts including reconciliation of the District general ledger, revenue accounts, expenditures, and cash balances.
Prepares and directs the preparation of audits, financial statements and varied fiscal reports.
Provides technical support to outside auditors and governmental program auditors.
Posts data to various ledgers, registers, journals and logs following established accounting techniques and procedures.
Performs internal audits of accounts payable, payroll distribution, fixed assets, and cash. May make correcting journal entries in assigned areas.
Responsible for closing books at year end upon completion of annual audit.
