1. IT PMO
1.1 Directing overall the projects
Responsible for the overall project management function, providing leadership, coordination and management of the PMO processes and functions, Supervises the team that provides project management support functions and administrative support to project managers.
1.2 Set standards for how projects are run
Tracking deadlines, deliverables, resources, and timelines throughout the project process and Builds up a common set of practices, principles and templates for managing projects. Standardization means project managers can move more easily between different projects and new project managers get up to speed faster. Creating project management templates means standard components can be reused which saves time and money as they are not created for each project fresh.
1.3 Ensure project management standards are followed
Sets project management standards, it also must ensure they are followed by performing regular assessments of projects. This process can feedback into the standards definition.
1.4 Gathering of project data and production of information for management review
Track the status of all projects in the organization based on updates from the project managers, standardize the way this information is compiled and reported to management. The normal way to present the information is using Project dashboard which provide a clear way to keep track of the status of projects.
1.5 Source of guidance and advice for project managers
Develop into a center of excellence for project management and can provide guidance and coaching to novice project managers or new project managers who need to understand how the organization runs projects.
1.6 Managing all the outsourcing needs for the projects and defining the standards, procedures and other related issues to delegate them to the projects.
2. IT Governance:
2.1. The purpose of this role will be to support the Head: Information Security and Governance with all governance and control related functions.
2.2.Ensuring that the respective functional heads have the correct IT policies, procedures, standards, and practices for conformance with the IT Governance Framework and mandatory legislation and regulations, in place, as defined by Group Compliance.
2.3. Define IT RACI charts defining the acceptance of responsibilities in respect of the supply and demand for IT.
2.4. Manage day-to-day activities related to developing and advising on the IT Functional Area development of governance documentation such as policies, standards, procedures and training.
2.5. Perform regular IT Governance Maturity Assessments for the respective IT Functional Areas.
2.6. Develop a training plan aligned to the IT Governance Program for all IT Functional Areas, based on the defined current Skills Matrix.
2.7. Establish an information management and protection framework for an effective enterprise wide Information Governance Program; serve as a consultant to business-area leaders.
2.8. Identify, evaluate, and assist with the implementation of an information governance solution to provide systemic monitoring of the Information Governance program.
2.9. Manage day-to-day activities, including policies, procedures, training and communication regarding the Information Governance Program.
2.10. In conjunction with Group Legal and Group Compliance identify information management and protection laws and regulations and implement actions to ensure compliance.
2.11. Develop, implement and maintain the policies, systems, and procedures for the management of recorded information throughout its life cycle.
