As a Compensation Analyst for the international staff based in Europe, Africa and Asia I am involved in a diverse range of employment markets. My role involves the following:

→ Proposing compensation packages and explaining the package components to management and employees
→ Assisting in job evaluations as required
→ Annual compensation review and benchmarking of salary ranges versus the market and the individual positioning in the ranges using the salary surveys results
→ Defining the annual merit matrix according to the budget, performance and placement in salary range
→ Understanding and providing guidance on compensation standards. Ensuring compliance with company procedures
→ Supporting recruiters in assigning the appropriate grade for the new hires
→ Working on various compensation projects

Projects I am proud of:
● Rotation premium compensation system review:
Analyzed the existing compensation model for employees working on rotation, and propose the appropriate adjustments to the existing comp model
● Home Country Reference Study:
Study the International salary structures versus the local structures in over 100 countries to determine the need to promote or downgrade the structures based on the reference markets
● Acquired Company Salary structures review:
Review the salary structures for an acquired company and propose adjustments to the individual salaries and the structure in general to align with the company general positioning versus the market

International Benefits Administrator at Schlumberger

• Advising employees about their deferred benefits, current and future options
• Managing full cycle of deferred plans of Schlumberger International staff, including plans enrollment, termination, retirement, and processing payments
→ Computation of deferred plans earnings and interests, reconciliation of deferred benefit plans balance records in SAP against the trustee’s books and managing correspondent bank queries

Managed several Lean projects to automate the administration of the benefits.
Which provided HR with the digital capability to move the services provided from a pull to a push system, reducing the employees and the HR efforts. In addition, consistent and on-time notification delivery, cost reduction, and environment-friendly.

Oversee the compensation and benefits of 1700+ employees, analyses and manage the fringe benefits of the employees, Including Company’s accommodation, housing allowances, health & life insurance, salary increments and bonuses.

Key Achievements:
• Negotiated the deal for medical and life insurance of Al Ansari group 2011.
11.11% increase in the Annual Premium while the market indicated to 20%+ for the group premium rates.
• Implemented a new method in Al Ansari for giving the annual merit in connection to the performance along with the total mass of the monthly salaries, in light of the salary scale. Which raised the satisfaction rate in the employee survey, while keeping the increment within the planned budget.
