Responsibility encompasses project development, reviewing and execution of following utility-scale power projects as an IPP:
• 50 MW Chakwal Solar Project - Chakwal, Punjab
• 2x50 MW Nowshera and Kohat Solar Project - Nowshera and Kohat, KPK
• 350 MW Siddiqsons Energy Coal-Fired Project - Thar Block-II, Sindh
• 35 MW Jagran-III Hydro Power Project - AJ&K
• 9.5 MW Daral Khwar-II Hydro Power - District Swat, KPK
• 60 MW Shalfalam Hydro Power - Dir, KPK

Renewable Energy - (Solar Energy) - 3 x 50 MW Solar :

o Technical Lead for the development and execution of three utility-scales solar power plant from inception to commissioning.
o Contract management - Implementation and Review of existing contracts, preparing RFP bidding documents and its evaluation
o Hands-on experience of complete project cycle management
o Conducted complete PVsyst simulation of the plant to optimize the solution provided by the EPC contractor
o Technical inputs for development of Cost-Plus and Upfront tariff application of both solar and hydro projects.
o Feasibility development and assessment of potential raw Solar sites using PVsyst and PV*Sol for designing and yield assessments.
o Weather station management and analysis of its data for accurate energy predictions.
o Technical review and formulation of EIA/IEE, Employer Requirements, RFP for EPC contractor and Owner’s Engineer documents.
o Liaison with local vendors and international EPC contractors for project design and site related activities.

Renewable Energy - (Hydro Energy) - 35 MW, 9.5 MW & 60 MW Hydro:

o Techno-Commercial planning for development of Hydro Projects.
o Conducted international competitive bidding
o Project lead for EPC negotiations and successful selection.
o EPC selection in accordance with ‘NEPRA Guidelines for selection of EPC contractor by IPP, 2017’ for 35MW Jagran-III HPP.
o Monthly energy yield estimation by assessing the hydrology data from site.
o Site investigation studies for feasibility study and basic design review.
o Selection and procurement of land after site survey for Hydro Projects.

Siddiqsons Energy 350MW Coal Fired Power Plant:

o RFP formulation for EPC bidding process.
o EPC shortlisting and selection after negotiation rounds.
o Successfully conducted project risk exercise.
o Complete electrical and power system design review.
o Successful configuration and deployment of HOLA - Document Management System (DMS) software.
o Designed workflow process for document management/control and transmittals.
o Electrical and Mechanical design review.
o Technical planning and design of waste water discharge mechanism
o Liaising with regulatory authorities for PPA, IA, WUA and other project documents.
o Initiated and completed site investigation studies (Interconnection, Topo, Geotech)
o Basic and detail engineering design review and revisions of EPC Technical Documents.
o O&M proposal review and shortlisting of contractors. Evaluated and provided cost optimization solutions to contractors.

Responsibility included, but not limited to, designing of solar systems for commercial and industrial sectors, managing, executing and commissioning of projects, energy auditing, troubleshooting, project planning to warranty administration.

o Project lead for designing of Electrical and Mechanical systems.
o Successfully commissioned large scale commercial and residential solar solutions (Grid-Tied, Off-Grid and Hybrid systems)
o Responsible for project’s communication system for cloud system monitoring.
o Developed Operations and Maintenance workflow and SOPs to increase revenue and efficiency.
o Conducted training on plant optimization and O&M.
o Provided O&M and back-up support for solar Grid-Tied and Hybrid solutions which included regular calibration, equipment redundancy, system availability and capacity factor achievement.
o Experience in large scale system designing through internationally recognized and standardized PV softwares (PVsyst/PV*SOL/Helioscope)
