Responsible for overall operation and performance of the Finance and Planning Department
To assist GM/MD, coordinate with various departments for preparation of annual business plan including Annual and Quarterly budget.
Ensure development of effective IT systems for managing finance and accounting processes efficiently, integrate with other relevant systems within the organization to avoid duplication of effort.
Ensure that an effective and efficient system of “Internal Control” is functioning well at all times
Participate in development and implementation of financials policies and procedures.
Plan financing requirements at an organization level and intimate to GM/MD and if required even to BOD for effective action on the same.
Analyze overall company segmental product performance for Board presentation.
Preparation/Finalization of Financial Statements according to the requirement of IFRS and liaised with the external (KPMG) and the internal auditor.
Examine and analyze journal/ledger entries, bank statements and other accounting records to ensure financial recording accuracy, resolving discrepancies and ensure compliance with organizational requirements.
Responsible for manufacturing costing and inventory valuation and also ensure effective cost control at various department level.
Negotiate banking facilities and provide the bank with all their requirements.
Cash flow projections and historic cash flow analysis
Responsible for the execution of timely and accurate management reports.
Managed outstanding receivables account, conducted ageing analysis and devised appropriate strategies for collection of debts within the stipulated time.
Responsible for the entire Finance in the business operating area of the company which is spread over UAE, Oman and Yemen.
Reviewed internal controls, reporting systems, overall performance of finance department
Reconcile the company’s records of cash, assets, inventories, receivables and payables.
Develop a viable financial and operational strategic plan and manage activities of corporate legal counsel, accountants, insurance broker, banks and employee benefits administrators.
Preparation of monthly report to the CEO/Board of Directors on financial performance
Assist to prepare monthly, quarterly & annual budget of the Company
Budgetary Control & Preparation of Monthly P/L
Reconciliation of Bank & Branch A/C/assessment of Credit limit to Customers & debt Collection
Preparation of Operation Budgets and Cash flow/Reconciliation of Debtors /Creditors Accounts
Negotiations with banks with regard to financial facilities like Loans, O/D etc.
Co-ordinate with external auditors/analysis of annual Audit done by External Auditors
Finalize monthly collection reports/Fund flow/Monitoring Payable & Receivable
Preparation of Final Accounts
Follow up with all export import Shipment
Custom clearance of export import Shipment
Preparation of L/C and export import documents
Follow up with all L/C related works upto finalization
