Ensure compliance with established standards, codes, project guidelines, technical requirements, Design intent, and QA/QCP procedure within the Electrical discipline.
Confirm that the Contractor’s, submitted shop drawings, and product data, are strictly in compliance with IFC contract drawings, specifications, BOQ, applicable standards & codes, and schedules approved by the Design team.
Confirm that the Contractor’s product data, materials/samples, and material submittal are strictly in compliance with the Project specifications and the client’s approved manufacturers list.
Conduct technical investigations involving the origination or modification of material, component, or process specifications and evaluate design criteria based on codes and standards requirements.
Review and monitor the Contractor’s Quality Control Plan, and method statements, and make recommendations for any remedial action considered necessary.
Attend off-site factory inspections when required.
Confirm that the Contractor’s prototypes, mock-ups, installation, and testing procedures are following the approved shop drawings and approved method statements.
Manage project schedules, budgets, and resources, ensuring timely handover and providing cost-effective solutions without compromising quality.
Foster strong client relationships by effectively communicating project progress, addressing concerns, and ensuring client satisfaction.
Conduct in conjunction with the concerned departments acceptance inspections and re-inspections of the completed permanent works, until all deficiencies are corrected and signed off.
Ensure that all safety regulations and procedures are fully implemented at the site.
Attend scheduled meetings with clients and contractors and initiate and prepare electrical-related letters, memos, or reports to Contractors and other Departments.
Testing, pre-commissioning, and commissioning of electrical systems.
To check contractor’s monthly invoices based on actual work Execution, material delivery, and Project BOQ.
Provide input into the design phase to optimize electrical systems.
Raising the snag list to the contractor and following the de-snagging work at the site.
Oversee preventive and corrective maintenance activities.
Maintaining effective relationships with each contractor’s testing and commissioning managers to establish a collaborative and supportive environment for the conduct of integrated testing.
Review of shop drawings for electrical systems (Low voltage and Low current) and approve for Execution when compliance with Design, contract, BOQ, and project specification is verified.
Assisting all inspection procedures with Site inspectors.
Review material technical submittal to verify compliance with contract requirements, project specifications, and requirements compulsory to achieve the desired function of electrical utilities.
Inspecting material samples, site deliveries of materials, and workmanship.
Make sure that an activity offered in the inspection has an approved shop drawing, method statement (MS), and QCP.
Ensure coordination has been made among all MEP services, structural and Architectural disciplines, and make certain work execution at the site is in progress as per the approved coordination drawing.
To ensure contractor’s work is done in a manner that does not cause unnecessary or improper interface with the public, including public and private pathways as well footpaths.
Make sure any non-conformance has been reported and corrected.
Evaluate the Red line as built drawings submitted by the contractor and make sure all site conditions are properly addressed.
To Review Requests for technical information (RTI) in case technical reasons require a change in shop drawing, BOQ, or approved document.
To Review and ensure Implementation of approved QA/QC procedures at the site.
Participate with client disciplines in reviewing the close-out report as submitted by the contractor.
Proposals to client ensuring project proper, timely as well successful handover to client and acquire reliable MEP services.

Review contractor submittals for compliance with submission requirements and client needs.
