• Supervising the project staff and coordinating the daily activities of the electrical department.
• Preparing PPM Plan schedule and checklist of all electrical assists like switchgear, MDBs, and electrical panels. and send them to our division engineer.
• Scheduling and planning maintenance work to ensure smooth operation and maintenance of the project electrical system and equipment according to electrical standards and as per the Weekly/Monthly/half-yearly/Yearly maintenance plan or reports.
• Supervision of O&M staff and coordinated with related departments for routine maintenance activities.
• Manage sub-contractors and service providers for the uninterrupted facilities operation process of the project, by the instructions of the project manager/Client Management.
• Conducting periodic inspections and updating major issues to the project electrical engineer and contract management support officials.
• On-side guidance and assistance to associated technicians for quick faults finding, troubleshooting and repair; also make sure all the activities are in conformance with safety codes.
• Lead a technical team for project operation.
• Guiding junior staff for continuous improvement and decision making.
• Inspect daily service logs, data readings, and documentation, prepare daily reports and preventive maintenance schedules as per OEM manuals.
• Utilizing preventive maintenance procedures to reduce unscheduled downtime.
• Generate and follow PM & CM work orders from the CAFM system and update the progress daily as per the site activities.
• Making sure that all the spare parts and consumables are available on site for daily/weekly maintenance activities.
• Making electricity utility bills of all commercial area shops and villas of Hayat hotel, Hilton hotel, and Conrad hotel and sending them to Sr. electrical Engineer/Management.
• Support and visit with the division engineer to inspect using electrical materials and make material issuance paper or work permit for hot, cold, and confined space work.
• Receiving complaints from clients & forwarding them to the concerned departments.
• Ensured timely and accurate reporting to Sr. electrical Engineer/Management.
• Assist in inventory management negotiation with suppliers and vendors to obtain the best quality and value for suppliers.
• Performing any other duties assigned by Sr. electrical Engineer/Management.
• Responsible for MV. Switchgear Sub Station 13, 800kv at top of the Makkah clock tower (TOTH). Used inside SF6 circuit breakers.
• Lead the team for Operation, maintenance, control and repair of primary- standby power generators, other power generating equipments, lighting, and power distribution systems.
• Responsible for assisting the manager in the training and development of new technicians.
• Oversee the daily activities and help the worker in case of need, evaluate the team’s activity.
• Perform specific electrical maintenance and tests assigned by project engineers/managers.
• Load shifting as required and power shutdowns for yearly maintenance of all MDBs switchgear and transformers.
• Analyse the behavior of the equipment concerning the setpoint & set up the various control parameters.
• Perform daily auditing of equipment performance by utilizing the facilities built on the electrical system (O&M) e.g.
• Maintaining relevant, Abnormality reports & documentation.
• Replace inventory log of all types of relays, contactors, fuse, & breakers.
• Motor control circuits star-delta and VFDs control. (Johnson control)
• Mounting and operating central battery system star technology.
• Weekly, Monthly & Yearly maintenance of all electrical assets.
• Electrically Responsible for the AHUs and FCUs motors and their VFDs.
• Responsible of all child water pumps panels and pump connections with star or delta.
• Installation and termination for all LV systems and cable networks for buildings including the LV main distribution boards(MDB) or LP, ELP, EDP, DP, PP panels, etc.
• Earth testing, insolation test, and voltage drop test.
• Testing dry-type transformers and settings of its TMD (temperature monitoring device).
• Installation and termination of MV substations.
• Termination for all MV cables between the transformer and the switchgear.
• Checking plans, drawings, and quantities for accuracy of calculations.
• Ensuring that all materials used and work performed are as per standard and specifications.
• Lead the labor and collect the daily progress of working from technicians. And send to Sr. Electrical Engineer.
• Responsible for all electrical drawings giving the work to the technician as per required work or cable pulling, cable trays, PVC piping, and RGS piping.
• Preparing reports as required.
• Resolving any unexpected technical difficulties and other problems that may arise.
• Electrical systems, distribution systems, and motor control units- troubleshooting diagnosis and component replacement.
• Disassembled defective electrical equipment, replaced defective or worn parts, and re-assembled using hand tools.
• Tracing, diagnosing, and rectifying electrical faults, checking circuit breakers and automatic control units replacing them where required.
• Diagnose malfunctioning systems and components, using test equipment and hand tools, to locate the cause of a breakdown and correct the problem.
• assist with emergencies by operating standby generators and emergency lighting systems.
• Maintenance and Troubleshooting of Heavy Machines.
• Troubleshooting of VFD panels, LV, DB panels, MCC panels, LP panels, EM panels & MV panels.
• Replacement of CTs, PTs ACBs, & VCBs parts as instructed by the seniors.
• Troubleshooting of Panel control circuits HMI, Electrical Components in which relay, PNP & NPN Sensors, Magnetic Contactors & Power supply of heavy machines are located there. As per Electrical Drawings.
• Use of Meggar, Multimeter & Ampere Meter as per required application.
• Weekly, monthly & annually preventative maintenance of machines as per given schedule.
• Accountable for all electrical and general tasks relating to maintenance.
