Heading the Finance department for “Five Guys” brand in Kuwait and Oman.
• Review and present the monthly Corporate Financial Reports to the management highlighting the Store level
operational performance effect to the corporate level.
• Analyze the projected cash requirements with operation dept. and ensure cash availability through capital call
and credit facilities.
• Coordinate and negotiate with the banks for credit facilities, POS machine rate and enter into future contracts
to mitigate foreign currency fluctuations.
• Review the operational cost in details on monthly basis and recommend remedial measures to the operations
dept. to reduce the cost.
• Prepare and present the feasibility reports to management for potential new store locations and recommend
upon the operational performance and contribution to the company based on NPV, IRR, ROI and investment
recoupment.
• Prepare and present the annual budget to the management to enable strategic decision making & planning,
coordinating to gather information from all the departments i.e. operations, HR, Admin, Logistics, Training.
• Independently manage and supervise finance dept., mentoring subordinates and delegate job responsibilities.
• Supervise and review GL Monthly closing checklist and file.
