Al Rajhi Construction is a leading contracting company executing mega projects in KSA and UAE. Major project in KSA includes Al Haramain High Speed Rail, Jazan Emigrant Housing, Knowledge Economic City-Madinah, Al Marina in Dammam, Development Jeddah 2nd Industrial City, Jeddah 3rd Industrial City and Talah Garden in King Abdullah Economic City. I am handling the procurement activities for KSA division with total projects value over 3.6 Billion Saudi Riyal.
• Managing the procurement department technical and administrative team
• Develop and implement purchasing management instructions, policies, and procedures.
• Responsible for performing all purchasing transactions including the preparation of inquiries, commercial analysis of proposals and the issuance of purchase orders
• Coordinate closely with project managers regarding planning upcoming material requirements
• Monitoring requests against plans and budgets to ensure profitability of purchased items
• Continuously coordinating with supplier to improve performance
• Actively involved in market research for new sources
• Coordinating with Finance Department to clear supplier payments
• Resolve any contractual discrepancies discovered during the billing payable process.
• Managing the procurement-supplier relationships for the company
• Implementing procurement module for new ERP system
• Coordinate with Finance Department to issue for LC’s.
• Actively involved in negotiating prices for new tender proposals.
Identify potential opportunities and convert them into sales.
Surveying markets for competitive sources.
Handling exports from LC opening to receipt of goods including follow up with shipping agent.
Documentation for letter of credit presentation
Supervising creation of documentation to negotiate with banks for reimbursement.
Manage tender activities and negotiation.
Supervise compilation of commercial submittals for tenders
Obtaining, checking and preparing documentation to meet customs and insurance requirements, packing specifications, and compliance with overseas countries' regulations.
Assisting clients to find appropriate mode of transportation of goods.
• Negotiates ocean freights, contracts, and service agreements with logistics partners
• Develops logistics solutions for export opportunities
• Manages and communicates the logistics issues with agents and vendors both domestically and internationally
• Develops and maintains professional relationship with steam shipping lines, forwarders, and regulatory officials
• Anticipates risk and works to mitigate issues and resolve issues that occur.
