o Description:
ETISALAT FOC Backbone Phase-2 (CAIRO RING) 170 km FOC. Cairo Branches Project: 150 KM - FOC.
METRO Ring Project :Connections and installation 150 km FOC Inside METRO Stations (Line-1, Line-2, Line-3)
o Roles and Responsibilities :
Promoting and supporting the FTTx products & Applications in the MENA region, which includes coverage enhancement as well as applications and services Toward Customer . Understand and communicate technical design specifications and statements of work to the customer; Manage company's key customers in terms of product requirements and commitments, and business development.
Responsible about the definition & implementation of the time schedule for all engineering activities.
Responsible about the implementation & validation of all design process (high level, survey, detailed design, BOQs, handover & follow-up with implementation team, As-Built). Perform onsite route survey for all cable routes along the network Perform & issue CAD design maps, layouts & reports. Considering the optimum & cost effective planning methodology (selecting optimum routes, minimum crossings & best implementation ability).
Provide effective & efficient onsite support during project implementation phase to rollout teams.
Prepare & issue the design BOQ (joints, holes, pipes, sub ducts, drums, civil works, … etc.)
Designing of Fiber Optic and copper Cable Networks
OSP Supervision: Site Work Management, reporting, monitoring
Responsible about Site Survey, Implementation, Installation, Splicing, Testing Like as (CD: Chromatic Desperation, PMD: Polarization Model Dispersion, and AP: Attenuation Profile. ) and rectification about Long Distance Fiber Optic Cable Network. Responsible about Trenching, Ducting, Cable Laying, Cable Blowing, Manhole / Hand-hole Constructions, Testing and Commissioning of Fiber Optic and Copper Cables. Responsible about OFC Records and Management with reference to As built received from External works section. Also to provide necessary OFC route & fiber details to the Maintenance Team in breakdown and other hazard conditions.
Planning and Design of Complete Network (OSP & ISP) for GPON deployment. To Make BOQs/Estimates & Detail Project Plans for the GPON Projects which includes Civil Works, Cable Works, ISP Works and all the Equipment Installations. Optimization of the Legacy Copper OSP network and also the Migration of the Existing Network to GPON. Responsible to provide assistance to Fiber Optic Cable Planners in FTTH Deployment from OLT to ONT including survey for Design, joint closure and ODF Installation. Manage the subcontractors &/or team members who assigned to perform any of engineering activities starting form the survey till the as- built phase

Define & document associated resource plans & costing models for optimized service delivery & best customer experience/satisfaction, coordinating project sourcing efforts & related strategic partnerships.
Responsible for the timely management of the bidding process: tendering documents, technical solution, definition of reports, tasks and schedule, escalation of issues for timely decisions, the application of the product and pricing policy.
Responsible for all reviews and in particular offer strategy review, special review, proposal review.
Responsible for defending of Technical business development to the sales organization through technical contacts with the customer including product presentation, workshops and technical updates.
