As Business Analyst I had been working on various application of Colgate Palmolive. Most extensively worked on P&L (Profit and Loss) and NVO (Non Variable overheads) relating to FICO, Flash Reporting (DFR) relating to Order and Invoice processing globally and SGA (Sales Growth Analysis).
• Involved in a new BW application Non Variable Overhead (NVO) rollout for the Asia - Pacific and Europe region. The application consumes the Cost Center Accounting information to generate various Cost Analysis reports with the objective of reducing fixed costs globally. Later as Phase II involved in NVO Enhancement in which the application was completely automated.
• Performance optimization of P&L and also modification in transfer rules, transfer structure, update rule enhancements to incorporate new business logic depending on new business requirement.
• Involved in the primary support for the above mentioned applications which are being used by Corporate and Business users within Colgate Palmolive.
• Involved in the Month end activity loading the Transaction data (Actual and Plan Data) from the monthly decks of P&L on the 1st calendar day of every month. Doing Ad-hoc loads on user’s requests since adjustments are made during month-end closing in COPA.
As a Business Objects Developer I have been a part of the BO implementation and Executive Dashboard phase-I creation.
• Creating of BW query based Universe using Universe designer and exporting the same to the BO server platform for making it available to users for report creation.
• Created WebI Reports showing the sales, profitability, growth of various Categories and Subcategories across the Subsidiaries in a particular Year, Quarter and Month
• Automated document Scheduling, Publishing and Distribution for WebI
• Integrating WebI to Xcelcius using Live Office and schedule the WebI to execute daily to refresh the Dashboard
• Comprehensive performance testing of Dashboards before releasing the same for UAT
