Ensuring prompt settlement and payment of all claims of Lockton clients for all lines of insurance including but not limited to Energy, Power, Energy, Marine ( Hull, Cargo, IV and War Risk, FINPRO & PI, Property All Risk, Aviation, Liability, Reverse Flow and Group Personal Accident. Advocating large, complex, and contentious claims for and on behalf of the clients from receipt of the claim notification up to the receipt of the claim funds after approval from participating Insurers/Reinsurers.
Leading and advocating the compensability of the claims in accordance with policy terms and conditions, intentions of the Insured & nature of its business by way of full representation of the Insured’s interest. Liaising, meeting, and working with loss adjusters, forensic experts and accountants, lawyers, and Claims Managers of Insurance Companies for and on behalf of the Insured to move, advance, and resolve issues arising in the course of claim evaluation and investigation. Assisting the Insured in the formulation of its claim under the policy by establishing claim quantum and helping them to prepare and produce all claim support documents relevant/pertinent to the claim. Advising the Insured (post-claim scenario) of the appropriate insurance cover not included in the previous or expiring policy/ies.
Develop Claims Manual as part of the Internal Control Procedure of Bowring Marsh Middle East;
Claims Leader, administrator & advocate for all Facultative Reinsurance Claims of Bowring Marsh Middle East;
Leads all of the claims including retrocession of Mubadala Development Company captive Reinsurer ( MDC Re) on its CAR, EAR, Operational and Property All Risk policies, Performance, and Surety Bonds, and Stand-Alone Insurances;
Claims consultant on contentious claims.
Primary leader and claims representative of the Insured ( direct insurance- corporate or retail business);
Responsible for the claims settlement of the claim - Claims Settlement Authority as agreed by broker and Insurers.
Supervisory works and direct review of the Claims Executives regular works including annual work performances.
Attend and join the Account Executives during product selling, and roadshow presentations through PowerPoint actual presentations by participating and educating clients on the role of the broker (claims handling, advocacy, and administration);
Lead person who answers Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs) during engagement with the clients;
Responsible for holding claims meetings with business partners like adjusters, lawyers, forensic experts, and accountants regarding contentious claims. Formulation of client’s Statement of Claim in accordance with the insurance cover, clauses, extensions beneficial for the client/\insured particularly for large and complex claims and Report, red flag and escalate claims exceeding the amount of USD 2 million to the Claims Management Committee of Marsh Philippines.
Primary Claims person for the Construction All Risks insurance claims of Ayala Land Inc. and Makati Development Company.
Claims handling of all marine cargo claims of Integrated Microelectronics Incorporated and
Claims handler of all motor car claims of the Ayala Group of Companies.
Claims handler of all property claims of Ayala Group of Companies;
Notify and advocate the claims of the Insured by working and guiding the Insured throughout the claims process. Dealing and negotiating with Insurer, adjusters, and valuator on matters relating to the compensability and settlement of the claim and
Handling of Insurance requirements of Asian Development Bank including marketing and Claims Servicing.
Processing of property and engineering claims by checking the policy cover and policy deductible;
Ensuring no fraudulent claims are passed and approved by conducting investigations and assigning loss adjusters to suspicious and large claims;
Ensuring appropriate loss reserves in the company’s book;
Meeting the Insured, brokers, and panel of claims managers of different Insurers to resolve claims issues and relevant questions regarding the compensability of the claim and
Payment of the claim by coordinating with the Finance Department.
