I’m an Senior Instrument Technician with more than 11 years of experience implementing, troubleshooting electrical and instrument system, I work with and maintain electrical and pneumatic instrumentation to include valves, transmitters, thermocouple, pressure switch, I/Ps, and many other field communicating device to control process, I have experience in all flow of pressurizing system to include hydrogen. Nitrogen, Natural gas. I’m responsible for testing and documenting of this equipment to ensure safety of operators.
•Attend FAT.
•E&I Maintenance.
•Assistance for modification, installation and commissioning.
•Pressure relief devices refurbishment.
•Equipment calibration and verification.
•Coaches and trains less-experienced instrument technician.
•Performs repair and testing work requiring higher-level knowledge, Skills, and abilities.
Maintenance of all types of field Instruments and troubleshooting for smooth running of the continuous process plant.
•Calibration of:
Pressure / Level Control Valve.
Pressure / Level Transmitter.
•Verification:
Weigh Scale
Mass Flow Controllers using Brooks 254 across Wet Test Meter or Dry Cal ML-500.
Gauges.
Check Valve.
Pressure Safety Valve.
•Termination wiring installation of new instrument.
•Responsible for maintenance, Trouble shooting, Loop checking and repair/replacement of instrument and electricalequipment in the plant.
•Communications/integration of existing gas detection system with the DCS.
•Perform and/or oversee troubleshooting and maintenance necessary to keep observing instruments operating at their peak efficiency on a daily basis.
•Removes defective instruments from system and cleans instruments, and replaces defective parts, using proper tools.
•Participate in daily operation meeting to discuss about safety and pilot plant stats.
•Recording calibrations made, parts and components used, and inventory of spare parts for pilot plant.
•Responsible to contact with third party vendors to calibrates Pressure Safety Valve, Check Valve, Pressure Vassals, Instrument calibrator.
•Take responsibility for ordering the necessary spare parts for all pilot plant and projects.
•Review of the Bill Of Material with respect to latest as built P&ID drawing.
•Certified Saudi Aramco work permit receiver.
Worked in various projects at Saudi Aramco facilities as Instrument Technician in Dhahran, Safanyah, Tanajib, Ras Tanura Refinery.
Worked in Construction installing a new & upgrading filed instrument for example:
• Installation of Electricalequipment and instrumention such as level, pressure, flow, temperature transmitter, Switches, gauges.
• Installation and stroke testof control valves. •
• Control loop wiring, checkingcable continuity, Loop checking.
• Cable Megger Test.
• Cable termination for new wiring installation instrument.
• Wiring junction box.
• Check cable insulation with megger.
• Installing junction box (digital and analog).
