• Supervision of jointing, excavation/civil work and optical fiber cable in the field.
• Preparation of new OFC plans and re-routing cables where ever is required
• Complete hold in the field of optical fiber laying, pulling, jointing, splicing, excavation, trenching, ducting, OTDR, Power, Source Meter Testing and termination.
• OTDR testing of link for fault localization, localization of Losses between two links.
• Manage OSP network resources e.g. fiber utilization, traffic restoration and final repair.
• Updating of As-built Diagram after OFC cut/Rerouting.
• Coordinate with sub-contractors on day to day activities; provide feedback to management on subcontractors performance/ongoing issue/projects
• Data Cabling - Cat5e/Cat6 and Optical Fiber Cabling and Termination.
• General network configuration and support for small, medium and large sized projects.
• On-site support for conferences and events.
• On-site support for remote execution of change requests.
• Provide remote support for field engineers and clients.
• Conducting on-site surveys for installation of Wi-Fi networks.
• Building detailed network diagrams and documentation.
• Ability and willingness to work in teams.
• Ability to lead installation teams.
• Wiring specialist copper/fiber optics.
• Perform routine maintenance checks, adjustments and repairs on ATM sites in areas under coverage.
• Conduct standards ATM tests to validate client complaints.
• Replace Faulty electromechanical parts In cash dispensing systems.
• Troubleshoot both hardware and software operations.
• Use approved software diagnostic tools on Machine display to isolate and determine cause of failure, error messages and unresponsiveness.
• Update ATM maintenance record for the site installation with specifics of repair work and parts replaced. Handles customer problem 24/7 support for critical equipment service.
