Establish and create organization strategy for people operations
provide a comprehensive and proactive HR services and solutions, support organization management, and provide guidance to management groups and employees.
Establish HR function and operation processes
• Participate in developing the annual budget for the Human Resource department, establish budgetary controls and continuously monitor expenses.
• Ensure that total salary costs measured both in total currency value and in % of sales are in line with the targets set.
• Maintaining personal expenses under budgeted.
• Conduct 1st interview for candidates of Supervisory levels and 2nd interview for co-worker levels and provide feedback to both HR manager and concerned department managers.
• Guide and give support to the managers in:
1/Selection and recruitment.
2/Compilation of job profiles (and updating these).
3/Compilation of job descriptions (and updating these).
• Guide and support to enhance the employee relation.
• Interpret and communicate labor law.
• Communicate with other departments and management to resolve problems.
• Prepare, maintain and provide reports about (Saudization, staff turnover, working hours, and admin related HR KPIs).
• Drive for staff productivity & effectiveness.
• Ensure all approved HR, policies, procedures and forms are adapted and implemented.
• Secure that the human resource team along with store management understand and implement the IKEA HR & Business Ideas and actively contribute to making IKEA the best retailer to work for in Saudi Arabia.
• Support all managers in the store in the training & development process of co workers and managers.
• Lead the training & development process and work in a proactive way.
• Maximize training programs and development strategies to meet business needs of right number of competent co workers and managers at your organization.
• Ensure the training and trainee records are maintained and kept up to date.
• Analyze training and trainee results and prepare reports to the management.
• Facilitate orientation programs and HR specific training and other programs as required
• Assist in recruiting and selecting of new coworkers, and you will be responsible to train, develop, coach and mentor these coworkers in accordance with the IKEA culture.
• Create store specific training programs as needed.
• Work closely with trainers to develop suitable course content which help co-workers to improve their job skills.
• Develop alternative training methods if expected improvements are not seen.
• Evaluate the effectiveness of the respective training programs by obtaining feedback from trainee and trainer investigates other training opportunities for staff.
