• Experience in Rotating equipment, static equipment, Welding, Piping, valves, pipeline, Pressure vessels, Tanks, Structure, painting and NDT inspections which involved in the construction of oil &gas and power plants.
• Experience in procurement inspection and expediting of vendor supplied mechanical packages, process equipment, line pipes and bulk materials used in oil & gas onshore & offshore projects.
• Fully conversant with various international codes/ standards such as ASME Sec VIII Div. I, II, V, IX, ASME B16, ASME B31, ASTM, AWS, ANSI, API, BS, EN, SHELL(DEP&MESC), ARAMCO(SAES, SAEP, SAIC, SATR, SATIP), ADCO, ZADCO, ADMA, KOC, ONGC, EIL, NACE.
• Sound Knowledge of physical tests/corrosion tests/chemical tests and their test methods - Tensile, Elongation, Impact, Shear area, DWTT, Bend, Flattening, IGC, HIC, SSCC, Pitting corrosion, Hardness & Macro etc.
• Field project inspection experience of oil and gas onshore / offshore projects and power plants.
Actively involved in Procurement Inspection team and responsible for review of
vendor's preliminary deliverables viz., PQP, QAP/ ITP, WPS / PQR and relevant
work procedures for project specific requirements.
❖ Review of Purchase Requisition for the compliance to Inspection & Testing
Requirements (ITR) as per project specific requirements during pre-bid stage.
❖ Preparation of Inspection and Test Plan to be issued with the Material Requisition
in line with COMPANY specification and Contract.
❖ Provide Inspection inputs to Engineering for the preparation of Criticality Rating
Matrix.
❖ Evaluation of Supplier's technical proposal/bids with regards to Inspection and
Quality requirements for Material, Welding, NDE, PWHT, Corrosion etc. against
COMPANY specification and Contract. Raising technical queries / clarifications to
supplier. Liaising with discipline & supplier during pre-award meetings to close the
bid evaluation.
❖ Preparation of ‘Inspection Procedure and Guidelines for inspection at supplier
works' in line with EPC Contract requirements.
❖ Pre-qualification of suppliers as per prequalification requisite by EPC Contract
requirements and Vendor Audits.
❖ Estimation of “Inspection Man Days” for each (Material Requisition) for allocation
of Inspection Budget.
❖ Attend kick-off meeting / pre-inspection meeting with vendor's representative
along with the Project management team to finalize QC / inspection requirements
etc. as per Project technical specifications and international codes and standards.
❖ Approval of vendor deliverables VDRL, ITP, QA Plan, Welding Procedures, FAT
Procedures, Manufacturing test procedures, Hydro test Procedures, Calibration
Procedures etc. in line with material specifications, Contract specifications and
International code & standards.
❖ Visit vendor's premises for key stage. Interact with Project team, Client
representatives and Third Party Inspection Agencies for organizing inspections.
Project : New capital-Egypt combined cycle power plant project (4800 MW).
Responsibilities :
❖ Acting as company Quality Representative in the absence of the Quality Manager.
❖ Assisting with the resolution of issues advised to the Quality Department.
❖ Supervising and carrying out all inspection stages required as per project
requirements, ITPs, procedures, vendors manual and international codes for below
list of equipment:
- Siemens gas & steam turbines, diverters, diffusers and exhaust bypass systems.
- Air cooled condensate (ACC) package
- Heat Recovery Steam Generator (HRSG)
- Gas supply system
- Pumps and compressors skids
- Balance of plant piping (BOP)
❖ Participate in audits of the contracted erection companies, where needed.
❖ Review and approval for release of required documents for erection work.
❖ Participate in weekly quality meetings with erection companies and Siemens site
management.
❖ Verification that an adequate Quality management system is in place at all
subcontractors involved.
❖ Review and approve project final documentation and handover to the client.

Project : Dubai LNG Import Terminal Project. (FSRU Terminal &
High pressure subsea Pipeline).
Responsibilities
❖ Attend to all welding & NDT inspections for berth piping, high pressure pipeline and
offshore structures.
❖ Establish WPS/ PQR for various welding processes as specified by the design, and
qualify welders according to the approved WPS.
❖ Prepare piping and pipeline test packs & inspection documents.
❖ Punch list Issuance and closing out for piping and pipeline of the project.
❖ Witness pressure test for project process piping and high pressure subsea pipeline.
❖ Witness cleaning, pigging and drying for project piping and pipe line.
❖ Witness final close out of punch list items for mechanical completion.
Attendance of all quality and safety meetings of SAUDI ARAMCO.
❖ Familiar with SAUDI ARAMCO (SAES, SAEP, SAIC, SATR, SATIP) & QMIS.
❖ Supervise and witness all inspection activities related to API 650 storage tanks such
as hardness test, dimension check (Ring levelness, ring roundness, ring
plumpness, peaking of all vertical seams, banding of all horizontal seams), SFT
vacuum box test, LTOP test, PMI, MPI, PT, RT interpretation films, pneumatic test,
hydrotest
❖ Supervise and witness all inspection activities related to ON PLOT PIPING (DHT, SRU,
FLARE, Hydrogen plant, DGA plant, SWS plant, Interconnections) such as welding
inspections, NDE, PWHT, Dimension, Hydrotest.
❖ Prepare Partial mechanical completion and close out system file (PMCC).
❖ Supervise and witness Tie-In & Hot Tapping works.
Involved in the following projects:
Zafarana Wind Farm towers (94) for GAMESA client.
Air and gas ducts for ANSALDO client.
Roof structure of 2 ammonia storage tanks for EBIC ammonia plant For KBR client.
Primary and star reformer (Piping, steel structure, Ducts and stack) for UHDE.
ALSTOM Power Electrical stations (casing - inlet and outlet ducts - stack - steel structure)
Grain power plants (three units), Aghada power plant and Staythorpe power plants (four
units) For ALSTOM.
