Dissemination of IHL and Implementing programmes:

National Authorities /MEON:

• Contributes to maintaining and developing networking of contacts with the Yemeni authorities (MFA, Judicial Institute, the Cabinet, Ministry of Human Rights, Yemeni Parliament, Official Islamic Circles) in close collaboration with the COM coordinator;
• Liaises between legal advisor and the ICRC delegation and the National Commission on IHL, and other bodies involved in implementation bodies (e.g. Yemeni parliament), in collaboration with the COM coordinator;
• Follows up and updates the Yemeni authorities with the related / new publications / IHL libraries;
• Organises workshops, training courses and Yemeni participation to regional events;
• Prepares dissemination sessions on the ICRC, Movement, HCiD, and IHL to different audiences, and insures the adaptation of the presentations to the public;
• Supports the sub delegations and ICRC offices in the field by maintain contact, preparing communication sessions to representatives of the Yemeni government in the field,

Civil Society
• Is responsible of maintaining and widening the scope of contacts and dialogue with Islamic circles in Yemen, and to enhance understanding of these circles and on-going debates in Yemen;
• Is responsible for activities such as workshops in this respect, and contributes to the editing and publishing of a publication in this field;
• Is in charge of developing networking of contacts with Yemeni NGO's, Islamic charities, and other organise or contribute to joint seminars, and make sure that they are regularly updated with ICRC publications.

Students, Teachers, Universities
• Is in charge of organizing workshops, training sessions, and participation of Yemeni delegates to regional events;
• Liaises between Yemeni university teachers, the ICRC delegation and its regional coordinator in Cairo;
• Is in charge of organising events in the field of teaching IHL in Yemeni universities, and the participation of Yemeni concerned persons to regional events.

YRCS
• Oversees, in coordination with the ComCo, and CoopCo the IHL manuals and other IHL related material for the YRCS
• Trains and coaches ( skill transfer ) on the main principles of IHL and differences of IHL and HRL for YRCS volunteers


Youth, Teachers:
• Manage and evaluation (practically and academically), the implementation of educational youth program the Exploring Humanitarian Law (EHL), and coordinate with the Ministry of Education for integration into school's curricula;
• Revise the adapted EHL program in the Yemeni curriculum and grades;
