• A proven track record working within a high profile regulatory change programme within Barclays Wealth and Investment Management. This included providing expertise on best practice regulatory change in a structured business analysis capacity and helping to analyse and implement ongoing regulations such as EMIR, DFA and MiFiD 2.

• Lead the gap analysis using an agile approach for MIFID 2 Transaction reporting across the Wealth, Personal and Corporate. My key deliverables comprised of current state to target state gap analysis and business requirement documentation across a multitude of business areas. Notably, working on defining transaction reporting requirements working closely with front office, operations, compliance, IB, industry groups, external consultants, third party vendors and technology teams to clarify the requirements and log, escalate and track any risk, issues and dependencies as a result.

• Acquired a strong acumen to grasp key regulatory, business and technical components swiftly. Becoming a critical resource on the programme helping to bridge gaps between business and technology which enabled key EMIR, DFA and MIFID 2 trade/transaction reporting regulatory milestones to be met.

Main Achievements: As lead BA and Test Manager was pivotal in getting UAT successfully delivered enabling business sign off for DFA and EMIR go live. This involved global SME co-ordination across various business hubs and platforms, ensuring cross geographical IT teams delivered according to the technical specification and managing the defect resolution process.
