⇨ Strategic Planning: • Instituting internal control systems viz. Receivables, Payables, as well as keeping a constant vigil over overhead expenses.
• Managing the general administration and office maintenance.
• Overseeing the negotiation with vendors for supply of materials and services.

⇨ Financial Accounting: • Acting as the overall in-charge of accounting functions for North Region.
• Monitoring preparation of statutory books of accounts, bank reconciliation and consolidated reports in compliance with time & accuracy norms.
• Overseeing financial statements including Trial Balance, Profit & Loss A/c., Age-Wise Accounts Payables & Receivables Statements and Balance Sheets Schedules.
• Preparing the MIS Reports, Cash & Fund Flow Statement, Balance Sheet Schedules and other financial reports to keep track of financial performance.
• Finalising the accounts and forwarding the Financial Statements to Corporate Office for consolidation.

⇨ Credit control functions: • Preparation of Debtors Commentary on a monthly basis which critically
analyses the past months performance and addresses all debt aspect of portfolio.
• Supervising the Billing Department for smooth, accurate and timely
preparation of Bills and it's subsequent submission to customers.
• Coordinating with Branch Managers for Unbilled POD's and keeping a tab to ensure unbilled POD's does not exceed 15 days.
• Preparations of DSO and working strategically to ensure DSO targets are achieved.
• Locate and notify customers of delinquent accounts by telephone, or personal visit to solicit payment.
• Locate and monitor overdue accounts.
• Confer with customers by telephone or in person to determine reasons for overdue payments.
• Coordinating with Branch Managers for collection plan on weekly basis.
• Providing reports to management regarding the debtor's position on weekly basis.
• Provide cash collection and bad debt forecast. Provide debt status and communicate on timely basis with Management with relevant report,
allowing them to have discussion and action plan to handle the situation effectively.
• Taking appropriate action for recovery or recommend for waiver/write off on a case- to-case basis.


⇨ Budgeting & MIS: • Supervising the preparation of MIS reports to provide feedback to top management on financial performance, viz. monthly profitability, analysis of debtors as per the requirement of management.
• Analyzing the expenditure trends, recommending appropriate budget levels and ensuring expenditure control.

⇨ Audit & Taxation: • Attending to internal audit; evaluating the internal control systems with a view to highlight shortcomings & making recommendations for implementation.
• Computing & arranging for timely deposit of taxes (TDS, & Service Tax)

⇨ Team Management: • Organising, motivating and leading the teams for smooth operations.
• Monitoring combined performance of the team and ensuring that everyone reaches their targets.
• Guiding the team members to reach or exceed targets, rewarding them by offering promotions and extra increments.
