The main objective was to raise the achievements of Ethnic Minority pupils through various strategies. The role encapsulated teaching ICT (vocational/non vocational programmes) to a wider age range in the local community. The role also involved liaising with external organisations e.g. schools, colleges, local council, suppliers and other partner/relevant agencies. The sessions comprised of supervised and unsupervised learning. I was entrusted with the responsibility to run a series of vocational programmes in conjunction with our partner organisations. I was responsible for assessing/monitoring learners' progress and recording their progress/achievements.
I was also responsible to hire sessional tutors at times of high demand. Wider consultation used to take place to initiate a project to ascertain the viability of the project. Once the project had been initiated, quarterly reports were prepared and presented to the stakeholders to keep the community updated.
