Main Responsibilities:
1. To receive and effectively review requests for insurance coverage submitted by clients, analyzing the data presented, checking for missing documents or information and evaluating the viability and completeness of the cases.
2. To use automated underwriting systems in processing quotations and determine suitable prices for coverage, issuing the quotations according to SAMA & CCHI regulations and MEDGULF policies.
3. Maintain sales staff by recruiting, selecting, orienting and training employees.
4. Complete sales operational requirements by scheduling and assigning employees to handle their task and following up on their results.
5. Implement marketing strategies to increase the production results.
6. To provide weekly reports of quotations production and the closing deals and requests covered and also provide reports of improper and unclosed cases and identify the reasons with the client.
7. To follow the competitor companies conditions and pricing they offer and recommend to the Health Underwriting Manager any proper adjustment may enhance the production.
8. Collecting background information and assessments of risk for better evaluation.
9. Issuing individual, corporte health insurance quotes and negotiate the terms with brokers and clients..
10. Call on policyholders to deliver and explain policy, to analyze insurance program and suggest additions or amendments or to change beneficiaries..
11. Calculate premiums and establish payment method .
12. Create the policy in IMS ( insurance managment system ) in compliance with the applied rates, terms and condition as per the client requirments in the quotation.
13. Responsible for evaluating each application to determine the effects of any pre-existing medical conditions that may interfere with the insured's coverage and look for specific details before offering insurance rates or denying insurance coverage.
14. Arrange and export the updated list of providers as per the network classification and list of insured members after being prepared and organized on the excel sheet.
15.Explain features, advantages, and disadvantages of various policies to promote sale of insurance plan.
Documents financial transactions by entering account information.
• Prepares asset, liability, and capital account entries by compiling and analyzing account information.
• Secures financial information by completing data base backups.
• Maintains financial security by following internal controls.
• Prepares payments by verifying documentation, and requesting disbursements.
• Prepares special financial reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing account information and trends.
• Maintains customer confidence and protects operations by keeping financial information confidential.
